I feel like Thanos when I wear these

I like these. I've stuck my hand in a pit and moved burning logs around while wearing them. They hold up well and they are great for insulating against heat. A good buy

Beat the Heat

Great for working at the grill or moving the Dutch oven in an out. After extended use the heat does start to come through the gloves a little but it is manageable.

Outer Lining is fragile but Gloves work well

Let me start by saying these gloves are truly amazing! I had my first bonfire of the year in my backyard, and I was grabbing hot logs and moving them around like a boss! The only surprising part was when I used my saw to cut up some of the larger logs and noticed the teeth on the saw pulled a lot of the outer black lining off of the gloves. It appears to have holes in some of the fingers. However, there is a super thick white inside glove that still keeps my fingers protected so I’m still happy overall. Word to the wise, be careful with sharp edges like knives and saws around these gloves. Still amazed with the heat protection, and these are still so much better than my old leather gloves that were awful around the fire.

Bought for camping. These are perfect for lifting hot pots off the grill and picking up the hot grate. Works as advertised. Only feel slight warmth when handling hot items.

Would not recommend

I got these as a gift for handling my Dutch oven in a 500 degree oven. I can still feel the heat when I’m taking it out of the oven and wouldn’t want to hold it for very long. I would not recommend these for anything over 400 degrees, much less the temperatures they’re advertised for!

Poor quality

The first time I used these with my backyard fire pit the gloves had holes burn through them. They didn’t even make it through one use. Very poor quality for an REI item.
