Powerful at lower speeds

I bought the bike over a month ago and ride it nearly every day, mostly on trails through woods and fields. It is great going up steep hills in low gear. It will easily go 20 on the road but demands lots of help to get to 28. The pedal assist feels so natural that you can forget you're getting help. The bike is sturdy and quiet and the brakes are strong. It is easy to average 15 mph on a cross-country trip. My longest trip has been 20 miles, which seemed to use about 20 percent of the battery.

This bike is my new car

I wanted an e-bike to replace my car so wanted speed, multi terrain abilities, and some integrated accessories. This bike has been a dream in my first 2 months/~400 miles with it. I have attached a trailer for a few long trips when I needed to carry things (my dog mostly) and it was a breeze even in the lower pedal assist modes. I still feel like I'm getting exercies over the course of an hour long commute, but I save so much time by going about 25% faster on any given trip. I find that I can easily get around 24 mph in the "eco" mode and rarely push up to the "sport" or "turbo" modes.

Great bike! Poorly designed and weak kickstand.

This is a great bike with one exception, the kickstand. After 140 miles and and owning the bike for less than six weeks the kickstand broke at the mount while the bike was stationary, on flat ground with no load other than the bike itself. Fortunately when the bike fell there was no damage. I had read previously at least one review mentioning problems with the stand, but was very surprised that the stand separated at the mount. However, after inspecting the kickstand, it appears that the piece threaded for connection to the frame is a cast part, and in my opinion, not well designed to support the weight of the bike.

Fun E-bike for rail trails and gravel rides

I have had this bike for a few months now and have had it on various trips. We did an 86 mile rail trail, I've done a few gravel rides with hills and it has been great on both. It can easily get the 85 miles on flat ground in Eco mode..possibly even a little more with a strong peddler. I have been very impressed with the ride. It is a little bouncy for me on rough roads, so not sure how "off road" you want to get with it. On smooth gravels, it does great, but rough "mountain biking" would be tough in my opinion on this bike. I bough two large panniers for the back and have had it loaded down. You notice it when you go to get on the bike, but once you take off, you can hardly feel the weight at all. This bike has a really smooth ride. I normally always replace the seat with a more gel style, but I love the stock seat that came on this bike. Overall, I am very happy with this bike. The only other optoins I wish it had, were to be able to make the lights blink for daytime riding and possibly put the rear light in a different position. It is hard to see because of the rack. I removed my front fender for my bike carrier, but other than that, have left everything stock.

great commuter bike!

I bought this bike about a month ago. I have put 250 miles on it. I use it to commute to work 2x a week and paved trail riding around Lake Tahoe on the weekends. Motor is quiet and smooth, I only use 1 bar of the battery during my 20 mile commute (1200 ft elevation) and it handles the dirt roads well. My first e-bike but I love it!!
