Back in the Saddle Again
I’m really enjoying my electric assist Canondale bike. It’s great on the road as well as moderate dirt riding. I’m just over 3 1/2 years into beating stage four pancreatic cancer, and it has taken a toll on my strength and endurance. With the choice of four different assist modes as well as none, I can get a worthy workout that I can tailor to my needs on any given day. I’ve used it to commute locally instead of burning gas to do light shopping with its nice rack on the back. It’s also very comfortable for distance cycling as well. It is exactly the bike for me right now, and my other bikes are waiting for my strength to return. Until then this bike is giving me the strength training I need to improve each day that I greet with ever growing appreciation.
nibble , fast , sturdy
I was a bit skeptical buying a newer model online , but REI made the purchase painless. Bike arrived well packed , almost fully intact and needed very little set up. I took it to the LBS as a precautional move , but its not really needed . With basic knowledge of road bikes ,your on the roads quickly after the build and good battery charge. This is an assisted electric bike people. Not a electric wheeled cart for those whom ride for style and not health . This bike still requires effort , just a lot less effort. It can also handle moderate off-road ventures as well.
E-bike, Weeeee-bike
My wife bought one of these Cannondale Tesoro Neo X3's a year ago. Having hip problems and not ridden for over 6 years, this ebike has allowed her to once again enjoy the thrill of being on 2 wheels. We swapped out the tires for a much more aggressive tread so she can do some of the off road trails. Absolutely love the fun and reliability it has provided.
Great bike but underpowered.
I only bought the bike today so I haven’t ridden it very much yet, but right away I can tell the 250W just isn’t going to be enough pedal assist. I live in a very steep hilly area and I could barely ride around the block. For some reason the assist helps you go faster on flat ground when you don’t even need it, but it doesn’t help on steep hills when you need it most. I wish I had done more research before I bought it, I would have gotten a 750w or 1.5kw
Awesome Bike!
After reviewing a lot of e-bikes, I am very happy with my choice. I live in the hills and wanted something to commute on. This bike is comfortable, easy to use and road ready. It is also great on dirt trails. Highly recommend.
Another Garbage Frame by Cannondale
Purchased 3 Cannondale bikes and all of them were 100% garbage. The Tesoro Neo x3 arrived brand new with squeaky front forks, foreign objects in the paint, cheap peddles, and about 2" too small in length for a Large frame (as Cannondale did not compensate for the slope of the frame)!
