Great concept BUT ...

Great concept but execution & price aren't the best. I have had this for a week now and used it almost every day. It is basically a neoprene compression wrap with an ice pack that fits thru the knee hole. The ice pack has a air-release valve which help to keep the compression tight but if you are icing the back side of your knee and resting it on a pillow, the valve leaks. The middle arm of the 3 is shorter so it doesn't reach the other side of the wrap. So I can't get full compression. I did some price comparison before the purchase and REI had it the cheapest but it was still $90. That is A LOT for an ice pack and compression wrap that leaks and 1of 3 arms doesn't reach.

Pricey but perfect product!

The compression wrap is made from high quality material and does a good job. It has a big range of adjustment- hard to imagine it not fitting anyone. The ice pack is also made of high quality material and the air release feature is a game changer. I caN walk around the house with this on and it won’t budge! The product is amazing and exactly what I wanted but $90 is a lot to spend on just one ice wrap so I took away one star for that reason. Otherwise perfect.

Works as advertised

I got this to help treat a torn meniscus. I went through this type of injury before and used some gel type wraps to ice my knee. They just didn’t quite get the joint cold enough and when I was icing more frequently, they wouldn’t get cold enough before pulling them out of the freezer for another go. This thing, while pricey for what it is, works great and gets the job done. Have I had similar success with a ziplock bag of ice and an ace bandage? Yes. But this is more convenient and I can walk around with it a little easier.

Disappointed

I bought this late last summer to help deal with a knee issue. The concept is great, but the execution is off. I have an average to athletic build and I can’t get the middle strap to connect. I thought maybe I had bought the wrong size, but there is only one size. You have to have tiny legs for this thing to fit properly. The only time I was able to connect the middle strap was when I used crushed ice. I suppose if you have regular access to crushed ice, or want to manually crush a bag of ice every time you want to use it, it’s fine. If you have average or larger/muscular legs, and want to use standard ice cubes, forget it. If the middle strap was a few inches longer, it would be a fantastic product. The one time I actually got this knee sleeve to work, using the finely crushed ice, it provided the best icing experience I’ve ever had. Hyperice, please make the middle strap a little longer so the rest of us can use this thing!

Poorly Designed

Bought this with the hope that it would help in my knee replacement recovery. The middle strap is too short to go around my knee, which is swollen as expected after the surgery. Strap extenders unavailable. Awkward to wear using only top and bottom straps. Regret this purchase.

Perfect present for an injured friend

I've relied on HyperIce products for years. The shoulder ice wrap has been my go to for shoulder pain. When myclise friend said she's icing her knee ineffectually with bags of ice, I knew exactly what she needed and ordered a HyperIce Knee for her.

ice pack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You fill the ice pack and use the sleeve to help keep it in place for walking around and still being active around the house, etc. Feels good to add some water in it to make it softer on the knee

Portable and very easy to use

This was very practical. It is portable and fits great. It could leak if not closed correctly, bit in general was excellent.

Nice but difficult

Wish the Hyperice Knee was able to use water instead of having to place ice cubes inside. The only caveat of the product.
