Relief for my "Bunion Big Toes"

I have bunions and my big toes turn inward, pressing against my other toes. Prior to buying these I would stuff random objects between my toes for relief. Now, I throw these puppies on and my dawgs can breathe! It did take a little getting used to, but often times I wear them and forget they are on. I mostly use them just around the house and haven't tried doing any walking, running or hiking in them. I am using them more like a therapy tool when I get back from those activities.

A Strange Offering from Correct Toes

I've been wearing the original Correct Toes for 12 years now, and I'm a huge believer. So when I saw this new product I definitely wanted to try it out. However, I was disappointed to discover that while they are marketed as being softer, I found them to actually be firmer and quite a bit less comfortable...to the point that I can only wear them in short spurts before my toes become agitated and sore. I believe this mainly stems from the lack of the cavity/slot on the biggest post. By having the ability to either leave the slot empty, or inserting a piece of foam cut from a spare footbed, it allows that post some "give" which is immensely useful for folks with big toes that angle inwards (ie most of us!). By filling that slot with silicone as found on the Sport, there is overall less give (even if the silicone is in fact 20% softer), and the firmness compounds with an angled big toe, causing discomfort. This seems like a marketing gimmick by Correct Toes to introduce a cheaper product to compete with all the knock-offs now found on Amazon. Looking at the comparison chart between OG and Sport is amusing to say the least...do you really think an otherwise identical product with 20% variance in silicone density is going to achieve vastly different results? Let's be honest, this is just a cheaper version of the OG that unfortunately is also less comfortable. I'll still always keep a pair of OG's on hand, but my extra pairs will be the Amazon knock-offs. They are just more comfy!

PF help?

Hoping these will help with nagging plantar fasciitis issue. Seems logical that encouraging natural toe splay will help.
