Runs Large
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket runs a little large (It's roomy) I ordered a small and not as fitted as I'd like in the stomach, but the arm length was just fine. I'm 5'8" and 150 lbs for reference. It's comfortable and looks very nice, but I don't think I'll be keeping it.
I love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After torturing myself reading reviews I finally decided to go ahead and purchase this jacket. It is soft on the inside and out and thin which is what I was looking for. If paired with a long sleeve shirt that will insulate it more if you feel it's too thin. I have yet to have it on in the rain to see how it holds up, so I don't know bout that yet. I have been wearing it in high 50 to mid 60 degree weather and it functions great. I read that the sleeves were long but they are a perfect fit for me 5'9.5" I can fit a long sleeve shirt under it with no problems, but I wouldn't advise a sweater and a hoodie may be pushing it unless it's thin.
Love This Jacket!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is great! Lightly lined with fleece so it’s perfect for spring and fall. The outside is dense enough to block the wind and resist rain, yet it is soft and not stiff. I am slightly larger than a medium but not quite a large, and I have found that Columbia jackets run slightly larger than their size, which is perfect for me, and this jacket is no exception. The sleeves are longer too, which is great, because I usually have issues with sleeves being too short. I love this jacket! Bought on impulse because I had a reward and couldn’t be happier with my choice. Can’t wait for the weather to cool so I can start wearing it everyday! Thanks Columbia!!
Almost perfect - sleeves too long, cheap cuff
This is overall a great jacket. I have a couple of regular Columbia fleece jackets, but i wanted something that will block the wind. My old jackets are size XS Petite, but I haven't seen a Petite jacket at Columbia for awhile, which is disappointing. The sleeves on the regular sizes are always way too long for me. The cuffs on this jacket could be better. They are thin and cheaply finished, like a kids' jacket. I expect a bit better quality and finish for an adults' jacket, especially from this company. I will probably still keep it, because overall it is a good quality item, even with the shortcomings on the sleeves.
Awesome sale!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got on this website for the very first time last month when they were having a sale and oh my gosh I got the cutest blue hard shell coat. Its not too heavy but heavy enough to keep me warm in the air conditioned office or outside on a chilly night making a fire! Its awesome! I got the large, Im a tall DD38 with long bigger arms and looking at this coat I was for sure it was too big but once I put it on it fit great! Only thing is if I were to wear a thick sweater and this I wouldn't be able to lift my arms up but if im wearing a tshirt or tank top this is a gem! Love this coat so much I plan on buying more products!
Good light weight rain/weather proof jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for something I could throw on before a hike or on my way to the gym. This works. I ordered the pink while it was available and the color was true to the photo. It is labeled as “Stretch” and even came with a hang tag that says that but i don’t think it stretches hardly at all- it’s more of a non-stretch shell. I read the reviews beforehand and purchased a small (I am normally a medium in Columbia products) and it fits well. The medium would have been huge. The arms are long on me and I have long arms. Overall it’s really cute and I’m really happy with it. I just wish it stretched a little.
Great great great lady’s jacket
I purchased three of the Women’s Kruser Ridge™ II Softshell jackets for my wife; dark plum, dynasty, and the black color. All three were purchased in size Medium and they fit perfectly. The exterior color on the jackets are amazing and match the displayed picture however, the interior neck liner on the dynasty I received is gray and the picture displays a purple. The zipper on the dynasty also displays as purple and the zipper on the jacket matches the exterior. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a very beautiful color but it doesn’t match what the photo displays and for 50% off no complaints here.
Great, good quality jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 5.8" tall & originally purchased size Large but had to exchange it for Medium. In my opinion the sizing runs slightly big. The jacket is well tailored to female shape. It is made out of good quality, wind/rain resistant fabric with soft and comfortable touch on the inside of the jacket. I like the fact that the pockets have zippers - less worrying about a wallet or an iPhone falling out. I bought the Kruser Ridge II Softshell for cooler late summer and early New England fall seasons but it will also be great as second layer in the winter. Overall it is an excellent quality jacket.
Sleeves way too long
Bought a size large in Nori. Fits great everywhere but the sleeves. They’re way too long. When I put my arms down to my sides, my hands completely disappear into the sleeves. Reference: 5”5 185
Great for fall and spring
We were trying to find jackets comparable to our old North Face windstopper jackets. This jacket should work. We also purchased a men’s ascender soft shell and this Kruser ridge jacket came up as a comparable women’s jacket. I am disappointed that the women’s jacket is lacking a chest pocket and adjustable cuffs, which I prefer. The men’s jacket actually seems to be of better quality. Why so different? The women’s jacket does have a tapered fit. This jacket will fit my needs. I do wish that Columbia would use better quality or “beefier” ykk zippers in ALL of their coats.
