Finally, a skirt that stays put! My problem with running skirts has always been that they are too big at the waist and shift/twist around mid-run. Not this one! My normal size XS is just the right amount of "snug". It is a pullover style that sits at the waist. No need to squeeze the fitted waistband up over the hips. Just pop it over your head, secure the drawstring and you are good to go. Love the fun color! The side panels are fleecy inside, and the puffer section is lined in jersey for a smooth, lightweight, quiet fit over thermal leggings. Ideal amount of insulation for high intensity endurance activity with temps in the teens and 20's. This will go the long haul if you are engaging in a high degree of movement. No more frozen bum on cold runs! For a slow or sedentary activity, like sitting on a bench at a hockey game or walking the dog, you would want something much longer and thicker. The price originally seemed high at first when I placed my online order, but now that I have seen, felt, tested the quality in person, I consider the skirt a good investment piece. Curbside pick-up was fast and easy. Order was ready within an hour.

No room for hips!

This skirt is not made for women with hips! I could not even get the skirt in my regular size on! The next size up was ok, but still not super roomy in hips, yet extra space on the waistline. The pockets are a great element, though!

Stylish winter skirt

I have the dark blue. It is stylish and versatile. I used it for hiking and going town. Very comfortable and add warmth in the cold days. I love the two side pockets. I wish one of pocket with lid to prevent cell phone falling out when sitting. Love the material, color, style. Wish more color choices.

Very short

I liked a lot about this skirt. Pockets are great, fit seems true to size, but I ordered a L when my regular size is M hoping to get more length. Not much length, but a too much room. For reference the garment measurements for a size L are: waist 35”, Hip 43”, front length 15”, back length 17”. It’s a lightweight skirt, comfortable, if I had ordered the M I’m sure flattering, and warm. I returned because I like to scramble while hiking and this skirt being perfectly straight AND short doesn’t work. Also is well made.

True to size

I read the reviews saying the skirt runs small, so I tried both the large and xl. I’m a solid 12/L across most brands, and the large did fine. XL fell down my hips too far too be cute or stay on. Also- chose this over the smartwool insulated skirt with a zipper- though warmer, that other skirt’s waist has no give, and the zipper threatens to unzip itself. This skirt will be far more comfortable for sitting/lounging.

Perfect Over Tights or Leggings

I wear this skirt over my leggings to run errands after yoga or the gym. This simple addition adds a touch of class and modesty to my workout gear to make it appropriate for whatever I have planned afterward. I like the fact that it doesn't have any zippers so there's nothing to break. Instead, the side panels stretch to accommodate sitting down.

Cute, but runs small

I bought this skirt with the intent of wearing over leggings. It was super cute and warm, but just too small. I usually wear an 8 or 10 so I bought the medium and it was just too tight with and without leggings on. I exchanged for the size L and it was perfect

Comfortable Versatile Skirt

I have to admit that I wasn't sure I would like this skirt when it arrived. I hesitated wearing it, but when I finally did I loved it! I have worn it walking and running. I thought it might be too tight to exercise in, but it is not. I really like the color and the side pockets. The side pockets are great because I can easily access my phone and they keep items from bouncing around like in coat pockets.

Great added layer, not for active sports

Adds a nice added layer when participating in winter sports such as paddle or outside running/walking during the cold months. But waist slips. Bought long tunic also and I prefer this for active sports. If you are wearing for fashion, it’s fine. Nice color!

Almost perfect

I have this skirt in a paprika color in size Lg which is a little big on me. Wore it all winter over leggings, cinched the waist with the interior elastic, and it was fine. The extra layer of warmth was great. I bought the skirt in navy Medium recently and it's snug, but because the sides are stretchy, it works. The slimness is more flattering than my size Lg. I'll now have 2 skirts for when the cold weather returns.

Too small

This skirt runs very small and doesn’t have any zippers to get it on, so it’s just a pull on skirt. it is also very short and literally only covers your butt so if you’re looking for something long enough to cover the back of your legs and thighs, this is not it. Returned this product after taking it out for a winter walk with leggings on underneath, and came home with cold legs and a barely warm butt.
