Breathable and flexible

Avid hiker who loves lounging in loose leggings and wants pockets. These are not really tights IMHO. One of the most surprising charatcteristics of these pants is they are cool and breathable so don’t choose these for much warmth. I generally take a Medium, am 5’4 and 140lbs and a L fit me comfortably. I like them on the loose side. They are not the most flattering cut in the hips however and I do have full hips. I think the pockets are the trade off for the less flattering cut and I’ll take it. I have other Craft fleece tights that are much more flattering and warmer, but no pockets. The pockets are solid material vs mesh so should last a while but the material is thin and you may increase wear if you put a large cell phone in. I can fit Iphone 10xs with thin case in leg pocket and zip it up. Some have mentioned colors like there are more than two, but I only see two. I would like to see a medium khaki color. I really like these and I think they fill a void in women’s hiking wear striking a great balance of flexible tights and pocketed pants. These do not have any water reistance but I think they would dry fast.

great idea, horrible stitching

I've worn these on a lot of hikes in rain and super-hot, muggy weather. They do great in that aspect, and I love having a bunch of secured pockets. They haven't torn or anything yet despite some scrambling and climbing over rocks, either. My 3 star review is because the stitching on the pockets is so, so bad. I could feel the stitching popping, and on one 9+ mile hike I almost lost my car key because I realized almost too late that both lines of stitching were giving way. The pants are nice enough that I'm reinforcing the pocket stitching myself, but at this price point I shouldn't have to.

Weirdest looking crotch ever..

I was so excited about these! They looked so cute online and they were everything I wanted in a nice pair of hiking pants. However, when I first tried them on something was really off about them. There was so much extra fabric in the crotch that there were extremely unflattering folds.. I normally don’t care if that pants are ugly as long as they serve their purpose (which they do), but it’s so distracting and kind of embarrassing. Now I’m debating on returning them just because I feel so uncomfortable in them. I’m wondering if maybe I even have a faulty pair because of how weird they look. I have two other pairs of northface pants (one of which are tights) and they fit so perfectly. I’m disappointed.

My new go to pants !

These are truly a hybrid pant. They fit similar to a legging but have just enough give to make them look like a pant. The thinker fabric also gives them more of a pant look in my opinion. I'm curvier- normally a 10-12 and the L fits perfect. Last week I wore these to work with a professional top then changed into a hooded sweatshirt and went to a bonfire. Truly like an all day/any occasion pant. And so far no pilling between the legs which is a plus for me (:

great backpacking pants

I needed a pant that would hold up well backpacking. These pants did a good job. The thick elastic waist band didn’t fold and twist inside the fabric making trail pit stops a breeze. The thick waist band also prevented the pack from rubbing at the hip belt. The pockets are helpful but don’t store a ton. The pants do stretch slightly with use. I’m 5’7” 160# and a large fit well, not snug like leggings, it has a little room. The medium was wearable for me but too tight for my purpose.

Nice hiking tights, wish they came in tall sizes.

These hiking pants/tights are almost, but not quite, perfect. First of all, I love the khaki green color. The material is stretchy yet durable, the zippered pockets are functional, and the crotch gussett is nice. Note that if you're taller these may not work for you. I'm 5' 7" and the length is marginal. I also find the lower legs a bit too fitted, and I occasionally have to stop and tug them down. In my opinion the knees should be articulated for better mobility.

Cute and Comfortable Hiking Pants

These are much cuter than most women's hiking pants. They look and fit like leggings, but have the durability (in terms of the material) of hiking pants. They have a lot of stretch and don't restrict your movement while climbing. The only thing I dislike about them is the lack of compression--they don't flatten my stomach as much as my running tights do (but this is a very minor detail). In terms of fit, I find that they fit true to size. I am 5'5" 142 lbs with muscular legs, wide hips and a trim upper body. I purchased the size medium and they fit great. The length is perfect as well, which is fantastic--normally athletic tights are way too long!

New favorite hiking pant!

I bought two pairs of these pants (grey and black) to hike a 130 km circuit in Patagonia. After 10 days of trekking, these pants proved solid winners. They fit like leggings without feeling tight and were comfortable even with rain/wind pants slipped on over top. The zippered pocket on the leg was perfect for my iPhone (plus size) and allowed easy access without having to remove my pack when I wanted to take a photo. An added plus was that the extra pair didn't add much bulk or weight to my pack (very important when distance hiking). Best part is that they are cute and comfortable enough for every day use - you don't need to be on a mountain to enjoy them!

Best adventure pants you'll ever find!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are the best hiking and climbing pants that you will ever find! I own four different colors and I wear them constantly. They're form-fitting but very flexible, and they're GREAT for fending off ticks in New England forests, since the slippery material makes it hard for them to latch on, and they can't easily crawl up at the ankle because it's tight to the skin. They're perfect for rock climbing, super stretchy, and have ample ZIP pockets, so you don't lose all your stuff! They've never torn, even after my roughest climbs. They don't get too hot in the warm weather or too cold in the winter. I'm telling you, PERFECT. Worth the price. You won't regret it!

Problematic crotch seams

I am so sad about these pants. They were everything I've been wanting for awhile; great color, great styling, comfortable, durable, and not too long. The issue is the too wide seams at the crotch created some unfortunate crotch bulges, and sizing up didn't help. :-/ I'm 5'5", 126 lbs with 26" waist and 37.5" hips. The extra small fit like a glove everywhere without being too tight, but the crotch seam was no good. I tried the small to see if that would fix it, and the seam was still an issue with the addition of the fabric bunching up under the butt and around my knees. If the seam was the same size as most other athletic leggings I'd have kept the XS and bought backups. :(
