HOT DMAN

I love this pillow! I bought two of these! I admire the thought put to the design of this felt encased Capri-sun! It's comfortable but it might be unusually too lightweight to justify the quality, but as I inspected, the valve is well made! and the construction is great, You can double it as a water pack and put water in it so can take a sip while you're in the middle of your sleep, or better yet, Fillo™ that with a Capri-sun! 5/5 would buy again.

Not nearly as great a pillow as promoted.

After much research and hearing glowing praise for this pillow, I purchased one to use in a camping vehicle. I have to admit that for backpacking, this might be better than most pillows; but it is still an inflatable with all the issues of an inflatable as far as comfort is concerned. Also, the padding over the air bladders is very thin and really does not add much comfort. It still feels like an air pillow and is also somewhat noisy, in spite of what the makers and other reviews say. I'm in the process of trying to add additional cushioning over the air bladder to see if I can make this into a useable pillow, suitable for my purpose.

Super cofmy

Great travel pillow! I've used this backpacking, car camping and travelling. It is very versatile, I like how easy it is to blow up in a few breaths and dial in the exact support needed. I had a Sea to Summit pillow, but it popped when I rolled over it in the night (as a knee pillow). I decided to try the Nemo, and liked the idea of a slightly bigger pillow. It has a soft topper on the one side filled with insulation, giving it a real pillow feel on the face. And it packs down super tiny, about the palm of my hand and fits inside a backpacking mug. It only takes a minute to pack it in the attacked stuff sack. My only complaint, I wish you could removed the cover for easier washing.

So. Soft.

I received this product about a week ago, so I haven't really had a chance to test it's durability out in the wilderness, but oh my word this pillow is so soft, even softer than my regular pillow. Easy to inflate, easy to pack away, super small when packed, about the size of a medium/large potato would be the best that I can describe it. But at the same time just large enough when inflated to still be comfortable when sleeping. I personally don't like inflatable anything, pillows, beds, etc. due to their tendency to unevenly distribute weight leading to discomfort, but this pillow actually seems to be pretty good at distributing my head weight.

Quality, packable comfort

I bought this pillow for travel and for use in my hammock. So far, it’s been a hit! The pillow inflated easily, the fabric is soft and comfortable, and it cradles my head and back nicely. I use it lengthwise as a lumbar pillow when I’m reading it in my hammock, then turn it sideways when it’s time to lie down and listen to the rustle of the leaves. A real winner for both uses! And my godchildren all argue over who gets to use it when it’s their turn for “hang time”.

Itty bitty

An alright backpacker's pillow. You get something you can wrap a fist around when packed that's only a few ounces. For that packability it's basically a chambered plastic bag with a nice, light fabric wrapper to give it the texture of a proper pillow. It's a step above fiddling around stuffing a bag with clothes, and for almost no pack penalty. I used to stuff my puffy in a sack which meant having to unpack/repack it any time I got up in the middle of the night. Inconvenient plus clothes tend to compress down, getting hard. It would be perfect if they made it slightly bigger (esp. thicker) at the cost of another ounce. Otherwise it's exactly what I wanted for a little sleepy time convenience and comfort. (And it *is* possible to remove the bladder to wash the fabric.)

Amazing backpacking pillow

Says luxury and it means it. Real good stuff, in a real small package. The stuff sack is part of the pillow and makes it extremely convenient, and the mouth piece makes for very easy fill up and air retention with the quick lock mechanism. Never buying anything but the FILLO from here on out! NH brand, great quality stuff.

Handy pillow for travel and backpacking

Great little pillow. Very light, packs down super small for tossing in a carry-on or a backpack. I am a little concerned it won't be very durable though, because the inflatable part is thin plastic. Also, $50 for a pillow is pretty steep.

Doesn't work for me

I am a side sleeper who requires a lofty pillow. For car camping, my giant bed pillow can come along but for backpacking and backcountry camping, I needed something light and packable. Unfortunately this just didn't work for me despite two overnights with it. I made do with several articles of clothing underneath, but they shifted around on the slick surface of the pillow so I could not stay comfortable for long. My ear also hurt after more than a hour or so on each side. I am tempted to keep it as a knee pillow because it worked great for that (I'm a very high maintenance sleeper as you can tell) but for $40, that's a bit expensive for a knee pillow. The material is very soft, it packs down smaller than an apple, and it's a good width/length for a camping pillow but unfortunately I just need something much taller/loftier.

Great Pillow

Had this pillow for my last 120 miles on the AT. Section hiking and I am a side, back, front sleeper. Used the Fillo at full inflation and on its edge when i slept on my side. Never have i been comfortable on my side with any other pillow product. Released some pressure when i was on my stomach. Love this product... My pack is not ultralight (23Lbs with 3 liters and food) but i would not leave this out of my need to haves vs my nice to haves.
