Great Sock for Short to Long Rides, Cushioning

I've had this pair of Smartwook Men's PhD Cycle socks for over 4 years now and still using them. I do a lot of heavy cycling in the summer and these socks have provided very good cushioning on both short and long rides (30-70 miles) but don't feel hot! I usual get sore areas on the side of my foot during long rides using other name brand cycling socks but the little thickness provided by Smartwool PhD Cycle socks prevents that. I have even used them for running. Smartwool is indeed a good sock brand that I'm also planning to get my wife (who cycles and runs too) some pairs. Smartwool is highly recommendable.

My go to socks for cooler days

I bought these socks for an extended bikepacking trip and they are now possibly my favorite pair of socks. They kept my feet warm on long days with temperatures hovering around freezing and did not stink after 8+ hour days on the bike. They are slightly thicker than my regular summer-season cycling socks, but not so much as to alter the fit.

Great fit

The socks feel great. I've never ridden in a crew type sock before. I really like the feel of support around my Achilles Tendon. I love Smartwool socks. I've been running and riding in them for years.

Great socks for all cycling weather

I'm a big fan of Smartwool cycling socks. I'd rather wear them, regardless of the temp, than any other socks that I have. I buy them almost exclusively.
