Amazing sandals, but...
These are high quality sandals. Footbed is extremely comfortable. Slightly heavier than your regular sandal but that’s expected with the leather cushiony footbed. My only complaint is that my sensitive feet get red marks on the top part of my left foot. I tried breaking them in a couple of days perhaps not long enough, it was only one hour per day. I’ve read other reviews and they say that stretching them and use will remedy the problem. But paying this much money for some flip flops that you must break in just doesn’t do it for me; if I am paying 125 dollars for a flip flop, it better be amazingly comfortable from the moment I put them on. I am hopeful to return them to REI and buy another pair, for this redness irritation only happened on my left foot. Perhaps a defective pair? I am greatful for REI customer service and return/exchange policy. I gave them 5 stars because I truly believe they are the best sandals my right foot has ever felt. Hopefully the exchange pair I get has the left foot as comfortable as the right.
