Lightweight, Extremely Comfortable and Ventilated
This helmet is perfect. I don’t have a single negative thing to say about it. It’s extremely lightweight to the point that I don’t notice it’s attached to my pack or in my head. Which leads into the fact that it fits my head perfectly. I don’t even realize it’s there while I’m wearing it. As far as protection goes, it’s held up well. Took a grapefruit sized rock off the top knocked out by a climber above me and survived a knock against a boulder when I slipped. Saved my head and held up to both impacts. Also very well ventilated. Finally, the helmet just looks cool!
For those light days!
After owning this helmet and using it exclusively for a year I thought I’d post my findings. It’s crazy comfortable, and I’m usually the last person of the day to remove their helmet because it really doesn’t bother me having it on all all. The lack of weight is awesome, and I’ll forever use this helmet as my new comparison that all other helmets will be competing with. The downfall is that after a year of a fair amount of use the padding that’s stuck onto the rear of the helmet is peeling off. It’s a real bummer because that’s my ONLY complaint with the helmet. I think I’m the future I’ll look for this in a new helmet and maybe this one is better geared towards the trips where I truly need the light and fast gear, and I’ll get something a little more robust on the interior for general rock and ice cragging.
Light and comfortable
I love this helmet, it's super light and very well ventilated.
