Lightweight, comfy sweatshirt
A great sweatshirt! I love how quickly it dries, how lightweight it is, and the comfy cozy cowl neck. I gave it 4/5 stars for two reasons: it runs small, and if I hadn’t tried it on in store first I would have purchased the wrong size (I’m 5’6”, 155 pounds andusually buy medium sweaters/sweatshirts. I bought the large, but I also like my sweatshirts/sweaters to fit a tad baggy to accommodate for clothes underneath as well as the pudgy belly I’ve managed to acquire); and because it pills pretty bad. Granted, I bought the striped white version so it’s not super visible, and I have taken my sweatshirt fishing/boating, hiking, canoeing, etc., but it still does pill. Overall, I love the sweatshirt and would love to have it in more colors!
really adorable, but pills immediately
I saw this top in the store and thought i was adorable. I usually wear a small (size 4 tops and dresses) but had to order the medium in this . So if you buy, size up. I love the look of this top.. so cute and the purple color is pretty. But I've worn it a twice , and even before washing it pilled up. Then I washed it in cold ( in a front loading washing machine on gentle, hung to dry ) and it pilled a little more, If it gets worse, I will request a refund.
Fitted and flattering pullover
I love this pullover. I got the blue “Late night” color which is a very pretty and rich color. I am actually wondering though if the fit and quilting pattern differs by color. The one I have has a larger and more geometrically intricate pattern than the diamond pattern described and shown in the closeup of the black pullover. Although the fit is described as “Regular” the color I got definitely has a more “Semi-fit” or “Athtletic fit” and is very flattering and cute. I could probably only wear a light base layer or fitted shirt under this. The kangaroo pocket is lined with a soft jersey knit. The overall quilted fabric has a stiffer feel and is smother on the outside than on the inside. The arm length is long enough to use the thumb holes comfortably. It is exactly what I wanted and I’m happy that it is more fitted than described. Just for reference I am 5’3” 105 lbs and got the XS.
pills immediately
The fabric started pilling around the sleeves after the first wearing. Now after 3 washings it is also pilled down the front and looks terrible. This is inexcusable for the brand and price. Otherwise the fit and color are nice. I will ask for a refund.
Super flattering, favorite new top!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought one in grey and loved it so much got another one in green, and considering all other available colors. The fit is slim-ish and very flattering. I have narrow shoulders, a small chest and a long torso (5’7”, 130 lbs) and the XS fits great. The arms are a little tight near the wrists/forearms if you like to pull your sleeves up but the thumbholes are an awesome feature for wearing sleeves down. Some other reviews mentioned pilling, and the inside has on mine, but the outside has held up great through several washes. I air dry it on a rack so maybe that helps. I receive so many compliments wearing these sweatshirts! Highly recommend!
Very warm, great for layering
Great for winter hikes, layering, and just generally staying warm. Fit is slightly smaller/true to size. Length is great.
Snuggly sweatshirt
I got this top in purple (my fav) and the color is even better than in the photo. I wear either XS or S and the small is a good fit for me (110, 5'3"). The XS was a little too snug for layering. I got this after Xmas on sale, and used my dividend, otherwise I think full price is overpriced for this item. That said, I am very happy with my purchase and have worn it almost every day since it arrived, including a blustery new year's day hike, around the house, and to-fro the gym and errands. I wish it was about an inch longer for more bum coverage, but I still wear it with tights. Holding up well so far. No pilling as mentioned in other reviews (but have not washed yet). Happy with my purchase.
Love it so much, I bought it twice!
I am so comfy lounging in my Annie LS while writing this review! The pillow construct insulates when I need to be warm but moves airflow when I need to cool down. My Annie LS is soft to the touch and every time I wear it I constantly get compliments. I was hesitant getting this as a Christmas present as normally Marmot runs big for me, but XS is true to size. Love so much I have this in Olive and purple. Considering buying the grey to complete my color necessities. The cut is also super flattering, and I have no hips haha. Thanks for making such a stellar product!
Beautiful color
I love the look and feel of this top plus it has thumbholes for which I am a sucker. Color is beautful and the front pocket is a great addition without making the fit bulky. I will say you sacrifice warmth for reduced bulk. I have worn a base layer under it to help, but was surprised at how little warmth it provided. I only wash my clothing on cold in a front loader and I hang dry, but yes the top does pill. It is not bad as of yet, but I have only washed it once. I also purchased one for my mom. She has a larger chest than I and it did fit a bit snug despite sizing up
Comfy & cute!
I really like this pullover. It's a nice color & very comfortable. I normally where a large but got an XL in this as I didn't want to risk it being too tight through the chest as some of these types can be. I think a L may have been fine, however I'm keeping as it is not so big as to be a problem. I would say it is probably true to size. It was skeptical about the polyester material as I normally HATE polyester but this is a blend & very soft in a smooth kind of way. Washes nicely & I didn't notice any significant shrinkage or pilling. It is warm without being too warm. I love the kangaroo pocket. This is a great pullover for casual wear or outdoors. I'm very happy with it even if it is a bit large, again that is only because I ordered a up a size.
