Great fit, horrible fabric
Love the color and fit but it pilled so bad after first wash, makes it look cheap. Very disappointing.
Wanted to Love
I bought two colors. I wore both no more than five days. The navy is pilling terribly on the navy arms. The multicolor with lavendar, blush and blue is coming apart at the seam. I bad even bought a size larger for a more bulky fit. Super cool looking but very poor quality.
Poor qualitt
This sweater pilled terribly and quickly. Just wore twice and pilled under arm and down the arm quite dramatically. Not used to this in smart wool. For the price I expect better. Am returning.
Also wanted to love
Color and the fact it was smartwool reason why I made the mistake of buying this. Within two months it looks old and worn. Pilling, discolored and stretched out. I have similiar shirts that I purchased years ago that look newer
Nice, but picture isn’t what you get
Apparently the picture of this sweater isn’t what I got! The one they shipped didn’t have the pale purple back side, I got one that was only two-toned, blue arms and green front and back! Kinda disappointed as I WANTED the one pictured. I have several Smartwool sweaters and love them, so this order disappointed me that what I THOUGHT I was ordering wasn’t what I got.
Not as pictured
So the photo shows that the blue option has a lavender color as a back panel and I really liked that. When it arrived the back panel was the same color as the front. Not purple. I still like it but not enough to keep it. I'm confused as to how it could be so misrepresented online. The fabric is clearly high quality but it's just not what I expected to get based on the photos
Love Love Love!
Where to start?! The fabric is beyond soft and felt so good against my skin. I love the color block pattern for a bit of interest. The cut is perfect as it is longer and more form fitting rather than boxy, which I like being 5’8”. I like to travel light (small carryon bag) and it rolls up perfectly. I can dress it up with a scarf to even look dressy. Keeps me warm without being hot. I want to live in it!
Only 30% Merino wool
It felt soft and warm, but returned it as most reviews complained about the over time quality and after reading the label that its only 30% wool and mostly polyester and nylon!
Definitely more of the "&"
Would you like to spend over $75 (discounted) on a sweater that's over 70% polyester??? Not me... This brand sure goes more on the "&" part of their branding.. if they're going to make most of their products out of cheap materials they should price them that way
Great fit, nice material
I bought the grey color one in size small. It fits great on my 5'2", 120-pound frame. The material feels very good too. The only thing I did not like is the oatmeal color in the back. A darker color would be better in my opinion.
