Great, trendy style! I love the boxy, cropped, fisherman’s style of this sweater. The merino is warm, but also temp regulating. I’ve only worn it on mid-heat fall days so far. The cute complimentary color stitch down the side and sleeves is adorable. Tempted to buy in other colors, so I’d say, don’t hesitate.

I only got to wear this very expensive sweater once because of how ratty it looked with just one wear and wash. It snags ridiculously easily, and holes appear. It also pills easily. Extremely disappointing given how much money this cost.

I thought I’d love this sweater, but it pilled and threads pulled loose the one and only time I wore it. I’m sending it back

While I love the feel of the material and the cut of the sweater, multiple “snags” show up all over the sweater after one wear. It appears the loops of the top yarn just snags for no apparent reason.

I'm going to start by saying I usually wouldn't spend HALF this much on a sweater, but I've found Prana products to be well made, and I LOVE the contrasting stitches on the side of the body and down the underside of each sleeve. SO I splurged! I'm 5' 9" 125 lbs 34" bust. I got the small and it's nicely a bit oversized and fits perfectly. It comes below my waist and falls nicely. It's a substantial weight, appears to be well made and soft. However, I'm unable to wear any sort of wool directly on my skin, so will wear a long sleeve t-shirt underneath, which others likely won't need. I'm looking forward to fall coming so I can wear this!

I loved the texture and thickness of this sweater - it's hard to find sweaters these days that actually contain wool. As much as I love these as well as the green color, the fit of this sweater was really unflattering. I normally love Raglan sleeves but in this care the diagonal lines are so thick and so close together that they make my shoulders and upper torso look too bulky and masculine. I am 5'4" and 125 lbs and the XS fit great except it made my petite body look weirdly blobby and top-heavy. It also makes my chest look like a sack of potatoes. I returned. Would not recommend for petite lean body type.

I loved this sweater on - cute color (green), great for, slightly cropped but still both dressy and casual, warm and soft. Wore it once and loops of yarn were unraveling when I was so careful. Really unfortunate. I saw new ones at the store with similar unraveling looos. I’m going to have to return the cardigan in this knit too.

The quality and wear of the Cades Cove Sweater was a disappointment. After wearing it several times without laundering, the entire front of the sweater pilled and some yarn easily pulled. Definitely not worth the money as this sweater did not hold up to wear.

What I like/love about the Cades Cove Sweater: The color (stormy night). The super softness of the RWS wool. The boxy lots of room style. What I am not enthralled with: The pilling that happens...on its own, before washing and on first wear. The length, because of the boxy shape a tad bit longer or perhaps a split length? The choice of color on the contrast side stitching, maybe something like black vs sky blue? That being said this is the first less than five star review I have written for Prana so keep on being the stellar company that you are!

I love this sweater! The real wool blend is breathable and warm. The sweater can get snagged easily, but that's not different than any other knit wool type sweater. It is hand wash only, but wool doesn't hold odor and I've had a lot of wears without feeling like I need to wash it. The fit is modern with a really nice length that sits well with mid-rise or high rise pants. I bought this sweater in both green and the cream color. Sizing is normal, I'm 112 lbs 5'2" and I got an XS.
