Outdoor Research Flannels are the best

Im in the Aleutian islands and its pretty cold here. Constant freezing precipitation. I put my thermals on and then this flannel and im good to go. And i get compliments on it all the time. Its a real mans flannel. You wear this shirt and people will automatically look around for your ax. You wear this shirt and its assumed that you're a lumberjack. You wear this shirt and actual lumberjacks will get peanut butter and jealous. Highly recommended to single guys to attract the ladies. highly reccomended to married guys to attract their wives. 10/10. Will wear again.

Drapes like a parachute

Quality of the material is very nice. The fit was not what I was expecting. After reading reviews, I chose the size I thought would be most appropriate for my frame 6'2, 210lbs/95kg with a 45" chest and broader shoulders. Bought the XL. Shoulders were way too narrow and it parachuted out around my waist and hips. The only way this will fit properly is for me to stop lifting things above my head and to down a 2-4 after work every night. It accommodates a beer gut no problem. Perhaps they didn't extrapolate some measurements on the shoulders when figuring out the sizing? Or maybe they sewed the body of the shirt on upside-down? It has made a great present for someone who is relatively sedentary as it fits them just fine.

Great shirt!

Picked this up as an alternative to simple pullovers/quarter-zips etc. as a mid layer or light outer layer for climbing in cold weather. Great experience so far. The temperature regulation has been excellent over a wide range of temperatures, and it both wicks and dries very well while staying comfortable. I was a little worried about the durability for climbing specifically since the fabric has a very soft handle, but after a few days of climbing it has yet to show any obvious wear. The only thing I would mention is that it is cut a bit more slim than I expected for a flannel. No restriction of movement at all but if you want to regularly layer more than a thin base layer or undershirt underneath you might consider sizing up

Easily my favorite flannels

This is my second Feedback Flannel, and I obviously love them. Not to heavy, not too light, and it doesn't absorb sweat like most heavy cotton shirts would. Basically a staple in my wardrobe at this point. The metal buttons are really nice, and the pen pocket on the left chest pocket might be my favorite feature, as I carry a fountain pen with me almost everywhere and I don't like having them in my pant pockets. The fit is a little more snug than other brands, I usually wear a small, and that's no different here but I like the fit better in any case.

Well made shirt - boxy fit

This shirt is one of the better-constructed flannels I own. I really like the material (synthetic, not cotton like most). Stitching is solid, buttons are metal which is cool. I am 6'2" and 170lbs, and I think I may have been better off with a Med. I ordered a Large and the sleeve length is perfect, but the fit is just too squared-off and boxy around the torso. Not trim-fit or tailored at all... just falls straight down with lots of extra material. If you are slim or athletic build, maybe lean toward a size down.

Comfortable product but not durable

I bought a couple of these flannels for work. They're comfortable and a great top layer for an AZ "winter". The material is soft and the color hasn't faded from washing. I've worn them a few days a week for a little over a month. They fit true to size and conceal an appendix carry IWB G45 pretty well. The only downside, and the reason I gave them 3 stars, is they are fraying pretty badly along the sleeves. I wasn't expecting a little more durability from a product marketed for outdoor use.

Instantly my favorite flannel

I don't wear too many flannels but this instantly because my favorite one. It is warm and feels pretty light considering it provides the warmth of a blanket. The style is ideal and does not give off too much lumberjack vibes, but rather casual. I have worn this on a cold night out with no jacket and felt fine. The durability is great too. I am a true medium and I can extend my arms forward and up without feeling like I may pop a button or tear the shirt. Recommended and I would buy again.

Bought eight different colors/patterns!

Soft, durable, flannel. These are some of the most comfortable shirts I've ever owned. I have Patagonia, Arcteryx, Columbia, and Fjallraven flannels. OR's flannels are the best of them. I am a 6' thin guy, with long arms. I bought all larges and they fit great. sleeve length is perfect and it's not too loose. If I had to complain about anything, it would be two things. 1. The bottom button hole is horizontal. It's just odd. I've had other shirts like that as well, but for some reason they were easier to get used to than these flannels. 2. When newer, there is a bit of tightness in the back, in the shoulder blade area. It goes away after a couple washes though. I'm looking forward to next fall and hoping that I can get some other colors. I have completely replaced all of my flannels with these.

Functional and looks good, doesn't shrink

This is my third OR feedback flannel. My cotton flannels from other companies usually shrink a bit. I like that these dry faster, don't shrink, fabric is super comfortable. I'm 5'10" about 185# and am between a large and medium. I prefer a large these days for more comfort but it does fit a bit big. The medium is snug in the armpits and shoulders but has a nice fitted look. Nice to have something I can wear to work or take hiking.

Nice Flannel

Was the best flannel I've owned, until some problems. The buttons are not down on well, and multiple have come off. Also, the bottom holes have worn in a way that there are holes next to all the designated button holes, where the seam the button is supposed to go through has detached from the shirt material. But the material is supple, strong and reasonably thick. It also fits amazingly with no baginess or tight spots.
