Best product out there. Work's perfect with hero6 combo... I took this on a 3 day 2 night hike and it lasted for two days and recharged it on 3rd day. I turn it off when not using it and turn it in when needed to capture a image. Love Gopro Products. The stabilization this adds to the Gopro is amazing.. and its all controlled by one hand.

Love the smooth video

I’ve had my eye on the Karma Grip for about two years now. During that time, I have watched every video on YouTube covering the Karma Grip. I’ve read most of the 1-star and 5-star reviews on the GoPro website, and other websites where the Karma Grip is sold. One thing I noticed was, all the bad reviews were with a Hero 5. I figured since I have a Hero 6, I would not have the same issues. I finally broke down and bought it to use at a birthday party in Vegas. The Karma Grip produces smooth video, I love it. When I used the Shorty, or some other hand-help mount, the video would make my sea-sick from all my hand shake and jumping around. The Karma Grip eliminates all of that. The video is perfect. Getting the camera into the harness on the grip is not quick and easy, you have to be very careful sliding the camera into the grip. You have to line-up the two ports and then push firmly to get into place. Its hard to tell if the camera is seated into the grip until you close the housing. There is nothing in the manual that tells you how to install the camera. The battery life is not great. It takes about 5 hours to fully charge the grip. When you plug it in, the camera turns on. This is annoying. I want the camera off so it charges faster. I brought a power bank to extend my recording time, but you cannot charge the grip and record at the same time. The audio is ok, but others may not like it. Most of the 1-star reviews are because of poor audio. There is no motor noise, but people’s voices are not as sharp as if the camera were mounted in some other GoPro mount. If you want professional quality video with the GoPro stereo sound, you will need something else. Overall, I love it, very smooth video, and for me the audio will do just fine.
