Haven't tried it yet because
I use my Hero13 to capture all my dirtbiking adventures. I've been hesitant to use my Ultra Wide lens while out riding because I couldn't find any screen protectors for it. I ride a lot of woods and occasionally fall over and crash, so I'm worried I'm going to scratch it up if I fall or if I'm riding through some thick trees. I really actually bought this lens to capture dog POV, but there's literally garbage for dog mounts. GoPro harness isn't durable enough for my 1 year german shepherd pup. The GoPro just falls to the side and aftermarket ones do the same. I did find a pretty good aftermarket harness but the mount sits too far forward, all you can see is his fluffly neck. Anyways I really wish you guys would make a better harness for dogs, the market needs it!!!!! And maybe a lens protector option for the ultra wide lens?
Easy Swap, Awesome FOV, and Steady Footage!
I love the Ultra Wide Lens Mod for my GoPro Hero Black 13! Swapping the lens is a breeze, and the GoPro instantly recognizes it, so no messing around with settings. The 177-degree field of view is super wide — it captures everything and makes my footage look amazing. I know I could just crop normally, but the 1:1 aspect ratio is super useful. And it's amazing how steady the footage is, especially with Horizon Lock on. Even when I'm on the move, everything stays smooth. If you want to upgrade your GoPro shots without any fuss, this lens is totally worth it!
Water droplets tend to stay on the lens
Love the lens, just wish it would stay clear longer, i have to replace every couple of months
Livestream won’t work
Got this to put on the sidelines at my kids sports events. We wanted to be able to stand at the center point on the side of the field and have the camera capture the entire field. We often LiveStream to YouTube or Facebook so family can watch. When this lens is attached the Hero13 will not stream and we get “something is wrong” error.

I can’t wait to get my GoPro hero 13 it’s supposed to be 8k or 6k but still 5.3k with hyper smooth 6.0 ima still get it. I’m selling my GoPro hero 11 soon finally with 1900mah battery for 2.5 hours and I hope the hero 13 don’t over heat this time.
