I have a half dozen or more of these bags spread across 6 bicycles. They’ll fit a bunch of candy bars, a boatload of trail mix, a Chipotle burrito, an entire 1L Nalgene bottle, 3 pieces of pizza, or a 20 oz. coffee mug (individually, not all at once). You can also stuff a light windbreaker, a pair of gloves, and a helmet beanie all in at once. I’ve taken mine on the Dirty Kanza gravel race (100 & 200 mile distances) each of the 6 times I’ve attempted it. They’ve been taken on Rebecca’s Private Idaho and the Tour de Acoma. These carried my insulated coffee mug and a can of Coke into work each day in Albuquerque. I use them to carry ice water for our pups when we exercise them on northeast Kansas gravel roads while we ride our bikes.

Got this bag from REI. When I put it on my bike, the velcro strap that goes around the stem was way too short. A couple of inches short. I used the wide handlebar velcro strap that goes around the handlebar, and the strap that clicks close around the fork triple clamp. On my first gravel ride, the velcro strap on the handlebar came loose, and the Mountain Feedbag (& waterbottle) swung down, where it jammed between the wheel and fork, stopping the front wheel instantly. I flew over the bars, and into the local ER, after an expensive ambulance ride, of course. I recommend not using this Mountain Feedbag without rigging up some additional way to secure this bag to the handlebar.

Convenient

Very easy to install & fills secure on bike. Theres a bottom strap that hooks to the top of your forks, this strap is the key to the bags stability. It will easily hold a 20oz water bottle. It will even hold my 40oz Avex bottle. Side pockets are stretchy & still usable even if you have a large bottle inside. I plan on using main compartment for Bear spray or bottled water, side compartments for chap stick, handkerchief & a power Bar.

Great little bag, easy to open/close

I love how easy it is to open and close this bag, which was one of the main things I was looking for in a handle bar bag, and this did it. It doesn't totally close, since it's just a drawstring closure, so it won't be totally waterproof if you run into rain. The size is great, and even fit my burrito (pictured)! Though I usually throw my wallet, keys, and any other pocket fodder in there. I keep an extra Velcro strap in one of the side mesh pockets. The only issue with the bag that I've found is that where it sits next to my bike light, the main strap encroaches a little bit into my hand space on the narrow part of my drop bars.

These Feedbags are brilliant

I'm just getting back into bicycling this past year with my eye on some serious touring. As such, I am watching a lot of YouTube on bicycles, bike packing and touring - the result of which is a plethora of ideas on how to accommodate carrying items on the bicycle. To cut to the chase - I purchased two feedbags - one for me and one for my girlfriend. They are convenient and adaptable as I use mine on both my Surly Troll (touring bike) and my road bike to carry my phone, wallet, keys, lock and other items. Well done to whomever came up with this concept. The Revelate bags are waterproof and easy to access the contents therein. Five Stars for me.

Perfect for bear spray

I bike in bear country and after much trial and error have landed on the feed bag as the perfect holster for my bear spray. There's enough room left over for my phone and an energy bar.

Love this bag!

I bought this bag as a last minute addition to my set up for the GAP and C&O. I wish I had gotten this sooner because it is fantastic! The drawstring system allows for easy access to your snacks, phone, camera, etc and you only need one hand to open or close it. It has several outer pockets that are perfect for electrolyte packets, gels or trash as you ride along. The inside is yellow, so it doesn't turn into a black hole. This bag is large enough to hold a Nalgene bottle, but I used it for things I would need to access more frequently than what was in my handlebar bag. I was able to fit a cycling water bottle and my phone at the same time, plus some extra snacks, etc in the outer pockets. Seriously debating getting a second one--this bag is THAT awesome!

Ridiculously convenient!

I bought a pair of these to give my cyclocross bike a little more storage room for longer rides. I've used traditional randonneur front bags but those require racks and my cross bike lacks the means of attaching a rack so this seemed like a nice alternative. Being able to access items on the fly is incredibly handy. I've used these bags to store gloves, sunglasses, my iPhone Plus, arm warmers, etc. The side mesh bags are a handy place to stash used food wrappers. Opening/closing is a one handed process and the yellow interior makes it easy to find items. Attaching the bags takes just seconds and you can easily mount one on each side of the stem to double your capacity. The only possible issue is if you tend to move forward when you rise up out of the saddle. Your knees can hit the bags though I take this as a reminder to move my weight back so I don't lose traction.

great for a bikepacking set up

I used the feedbag on my last bikepacking trip on the Olympic peninsula. It is a great piece of gear. It mounts up easily and stays secure. I filled it with two days worth of quick grab snacks (I like snacks so it was a lot) everything stayed secure and dry. The opening mechanism is a unique design that actually works great for one handed operation so you can grab a snack and keep pedaling. I might even get another.

Easy Way To Carry Snacks

I bought this to put on my old MTB that I am using for a bikepacking, gravel grinding rig so its easy to grab snacks and fuel up on the go. It is perfect for it. It mounts up easy and holds tons of stuff. I love the mesh and other pockets on the outside for stuffing empty gel packets into so the interior doesn't get sticky. You could put all sorts of stuff inside and it will stay dry and clean on the road. Constructions appears to be top notch. And the open/close method of pull tabs? Works like a charm. You won't regret this one.

One of my favorite accessories

Bought this to keep snacks and my camera handy and it is a perfect addition to my carbon hard tail. Top notch quality, Made in Alaska, versatile mounting and a washable liner. Also the drawstring closure is awesome making one handed operation easy and providing a good amount of all weather protection. My only comment would be to add clear frame protective tape around your head tube (I used electrical tape since my frame is bare carbon) to prevent any rubbing that might occur from scratching the surface.
