nice pack for my bicycle handle
i can actually fit my jet boil in this pack! only thing is, i wish there was some type of pocket on this case, to have easy reach for my cell phone. I have received many compliment on this bag.
Smartly designed bar mount bag.
I got this bag for additional storage on top of my salty roll. But I found this to be very suitable as a stand alone bar bag. It securely mounts to handle bar with supplied Velcro straps or cinches around a bar bag with fixed straps and harness. This is a good choice if you want something with more space than a top tube mounted bag. I used this on my gravel bike (Salsa cutthroat) when I don't want to stash items in my jersey or I want to take too much stuff. It doesn't bounce around even when bombing down rough roads or single track trails. The only issue I have, which is minor, is that the bottom strap for the head tube is barely long enough for my bike. But it works.
Great bag for day rides
This bag holds plenty for your average overpacker on a day ride (first aid kit, tools, snacks, etc.) and the bright orange insert does a nice job of providing contrast so you can find little things have that have slipped loose. The shoulder strap is OK, but I consider it there for emergency use only. Roll top isn't ideal for constant in and out, but it keeps out the rain like nobody's business. The bag is designed to fit with the Revelate harness, but I use it on it's own and it moves easily between my mountain bike and my gravel bike. I was tempted to ding it a half point because it interferes with riding on the tops, but that can't really be blamed on the bag. I can pull it on and off in a matter moments.
Compact, waterproof, no mounts required
Revelate makes quality stuff and this falls right in line. It's compact, but you can stuff in your gloves, a pullover, sunglasses, snacks, phone, wallet, the list goes on. Roll top ensures rain and mud stay out. Multiple mounting options make it work with almost any setup, from combining it with a roll bag as part of a larger packing system or just strapping it to your bars. Includes shoulder strap and belt loops too!
Lunch and then some
This is a well made little lunch box. It attaches perfectly and quickly to the pronghorn (bought directly from Revelate), and has lots of options for direct attachment to handlebars, carrying, lining or no lining, etc. I used it without the liner for a 3 day bike packing trip, stuffed it with snacks, glasses case, misc. gear. It looks small, but held a full package of Wasa crackers and a bunch of other random stuff no problem. Like how easy it is to access, and can imagine on a shorter trip it being all i need for a day's worth of food or gear.
Awesome
This is a great handlebar bag. I borrowed one last summer and decided I had to get my own. As far as I can tell it's water proof and I rode through some rain. Everything stayed dry
Incredibly Efficient
Perhaps the most efficient bag of all my Revelate bags. It is so easy to access; I don't have to get off my bike to remove gloves, change a headband, or check my phone. The latch system closes and opens with ease. I just recently purchased the Revelate Handlebar Harness and a Salty Roll Bag from which the Egress bag attaches and detaches so easily. Awesome handlebar system.
Bag of simplicity.
A nice bag. I've used Arkel's, Jandd's and more over the years - and this one is smart and simple, and works well even without being fully stuffed - which is a big issue with most new bikepacking bags.
Perfect bag for medium length rides
This bag is exactly what I wanted. Well made, water proof and secure. And easy to attach to bike handlebar.
Good and plenty
Tired of affixing bracket-type devices on my bike to hold a bag, I got this bag which connects with Velcro and straps. Good bag with plenty of room due to the fold over flap. Rugged and waterproof. I plan on using it for travel biking as it attaches easily to any bike and doubles as a purse so I can bring one carryon and my “purse” bike bag.
