Top 3 Bicycle With Gears For 7 Year Olds!
I have been searching for a bicycle for my 7 year old son with gears for a few months and came across this one. This is the best one by far in regards to quality and price. I found two other comparable bicycles but they cost over $100 more. My son is small so I turned the handle bars backwards and lowered the seat all the way. He is able to go fast (7-9mph) at a constant speed. We just completed a 10 mile ride and he wanted to keep going! This bicycle is lightweight and easy for them to use. I removed the kickstand since he was having trouble when the pedal "blocked it". The only thing I wished it had was an adjustable seat post height clamp.
great bike
I bought this bike for my 7 year old and he loves it. Lightweight smooth riding and shifting. He rides up hills like a charm. Great bike for kids.
Great, light-weight, child's bike with gears
Bought this bike for my son and he loves it. The bike is much lighter than his smaller 16" bike, which is great. The gears shift well and it feels like a big step up from entry level bikes. Co-op is a big win!
Very Happy, well built bike.
I spent too much time researching bikes for my 8 year old. Looked at many brands all over town. I believe this is the best value for a high quality bike for him and his younger brother.
Great next level bike for smaller kids
I wanted to get my son a bike that would last him. But most 20" bikes were a bit too big for him. This bike was perfect for my small 7 year old. It's his favorite color and he loves it. It's a great quality bike that should last us years.
Love it
This bike allows my son to have more range in our rides. The bike is great. Smooth shifting. Brakes work great. Love the included tune up as well.
Very nice bike for young riders
We took the bike out of the box and had it set up in 15 minutes. Checked the tire pressure and ready to go. My son transitioned from his first bike (16" Novaro) to this bike easily. It's a nice first step with rear gears and front suspension - we put 40 (bike path) miles (and some easy trail) on weekend 1. He is very happy with the look and performance - should last him a couple years. So far so good.
Grandson loves his new bike!
Being a 6 speed bike is perfect for my grandson who rides just about every day. Great looking bike and the care REI put into making sure the bike was ready to hop on and ride immediately was perfect customer service.
Great bike
A review for another person with a 7 year old. Great solid bike, quality is top notch. It's my boys first bike with gears and hand breaks, he was up and going in no time! Jumping off curbs and cursing up hills.
Quality bike
Great bike all around. Got it as a present for my 6 year old. he loves being able to shif gears and change hills! Worth the price for a quality bike.
