A beautifully simple idea sans straps and trees
ENO debuted these at Floydfest 16, 2016 and sold out the first day. The demo billows on display were super easy to fill up by scooping in the air and folding up the end. There was another brand from a different outfitter a little cheaper, but the fabric on the eno's is more soft and comfortable IMO and don't generate as much sweat when you're laying around in the humidity. The portability, easy setup and no need for trees or other objects to achieve comfort makes it more useful in many situations. It's not quite as relaxing as their hammocks and your legs hang off unless you're a kid. I'm sure your kids will love them around the house or out and about.

love it!
Some crazy west Texas storms took out all of my hammock trees at our house so I was excited that ENO made this product! Like others have said, getting it inflated has a learning curve and I thought it lost air fast so I exchanged my first one. HOWEVER, now that I've had one and use it pretty frequently, I've learned that it's not losing air, the fabric is just stretching and after sitting in it for 10 minutes, I usually get out of it and give it another roll on the end to firm it back up and it seems to stay inflated firmly after that.
I've also learned for the "couch sitting" position I sit on the colored side, but if I want to lay down on it I flip it and lay on the black side and I don't sink into it as far since the two chambers are sewn together on that side. It took some learning and adjusting little tips/tricks/hacks, but overall I really love it and think it's a great product.

Super Comfy!
I had bought this the day it came out. I was skeptical at first but the folks at REI took one and set it up for me to try it out. I see alot of folks have a hard time getting it inflated. I use an air mattress pump to inflate mine(it can be battery powered for convenience). I have taken quite a few naps on this and mine has never lost any air. I am a huge supporter of ENO products and have never been disappointed by their products. Definately a must have!

I was a bit skeptical of the durability and comfort since I'm 6'3" 250 lbs., but it has been great so far. Inflating does take some getting used to, but it's not difficult.

Does NOT hold air
My parents bought me a new billow air lounge for this last Christmas and as an avid ENO user, I was pumped! My billow lost more than half of it's air within ten minutes of me sitting on it (I weigh 140lbs which is well below its advertised 400lb capacity). I emailed ENO about an exchange, I assumed my first air lounge must have a hole or other defect, and to their credit the company quickly sent me a new billow. This second air lounge lost air just as quickly. A great idea, but does not hold air long enough to actually be comfortable or useful. Not up to the standard that I expect from ENO. Do not buy.

Honest Review
A little bit of background:
I am an eno enthusiast but that doesn't stop me from being honest with my experiences with their products. I love my doublenest and helios straps, they got everywhere with me. When my doublenest finally tore after four loyal years of use I moved on to the technest because I thought the improvements were enough to sway me over. I was wrong, went through three units which all had issues so I bought a new doublenest that works perfectly.
The Billow:
When I saw this first come out I couldnt find it on any websites but I kept seeing articles about it. My friend got one and had it setup in his basement. I was instantly in love. As this product went public on REI and Amazon I started seeing negative reviews or spread out reviews like here. I decided to order it and see for myself.
The first thing is people complain about it coming with a hole. That happens to units, if it comes defective send it back, amazon is good with that stuff and will send you a new one in two days. If the hole develops in a few months this product comes with a warranty with eno that I believe is two years(at least they say so at REI). Mine came fine, I got the orange and charcoal one.
The next is inflation. Ive watched videos on youtube and people thing you have to run with this to inflate it or it has to be fully inflated. Find an open area, take three good fast steps back and pull it towards you quickly two or three times on each side. I did it like this in my hallway and I got it as inflated as it needed to be. If youre outside this is easy to inflate, you can literally take a few steps. It may not look fully inflated but you have to roll the open end four to six times to make sure air doesnt get out. Im 5'6, I rolled it maybe six times and I still had left over space to lay on.
You really have to try this product for yourself. I have had no issues with it so far, no holes, easily inflatable, comfy, all that good stuff and I will update this as time passes. If you dont like it then you can send it back.
I wanted to write an honest review from an outdoor enthusiast, this product is a cool one to take to the beach or when you go hangout and play soccer with your friends. Highly recommend it.

I really want to like this product, but it came with no directions and the only way I have been able to get enough air into it is with a fan. I tried an already inflated Billow in the store and it was great. I haven't been able to get it as full at home.

Makes procrastinating easier
I bought this online and had it shipped to store.
Before I bought, I read a lot of reviews of people who couldn't fill it up with air or keep the air trapped. This has been one of my favorite purchases yet. It is very comfortable and super easy to use. I haven't hit any of the snags other people have, and I attribute those mostly to user error.
I really wish I had this in college with my super small dorm. Very convenient how well it rolls up and stores.

Just received my Billow. I tried one out in the store and it was very comfortable. This one has no directions and I can't get enough air inside to make it firm enough to sit or lay on without rolling up about half of it. Any tips or suggestions?
According to ENO, you will want to open one air chamber at a time and fill each side with air, you will then want to roll tight and clip closed.

How does this do with dogs?
​We do not recommend letting your dogs on the Billow, as their nails could pierce the Nylon shell and go through the Polyethylene liner.
