Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for using at home The 22oz tumbler is great for carrying around the house. I use fewer water bottles since I got this. It is the easiest to clean of all my drinking containers so I use it more often. You can drink out of it with or without the lid. The rim of the cup is smooth as there are no threads on it. My drinks stay cold for a long time and they never sweat. The lid isn't totally spill proof so I don't recommend it for the car. I like the 20oz Coffee and Tea Flask for taking drinks with me to work. The lid snaps shut so it doesn't spill but is easy to open and take a drink. It fits in my cup holder and in the drink sleeve of my backpack. Ice tends to last longer in the flask than the tumbler.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from First Gen - room for improvement I bought two of these - one for me and one for my wife. She loves hers around the house and at the desk. I may return mine because I use it in the truck before the sun comes up and it's hard to drink out of. Just give me a little tab to reference off of so I don't spill everything all over the place guys! There's no way to know where the drinking spout is if you can't see it. Seems like that should've been an easy thing to design....

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super drinkware I love all things Hydro Flask - I own 8 of all varieties. This one is great for hot or cold drinks. I love that I don't have to open the cap to drink. **I make sure that I put the opening at the HF logo.*** (flip cap does that automatically when screwed on right)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wife loves it I was apprehensive about getting this for my wife because of the comments about the lid. My wife loves it and has had zero issues with the lid. She has the coffee hydroflask, but it can be difficult to drink out of. She has been using this for her morning coffee, then cleaning it out and using it for water, tea or lemonade throughout her work day. She loves it and has had no problems with the lid or lingering taste by switching beverages. She took it to the pool and still had ice after several hours in the sun.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Conscious coffee drinker Next trip to the name brand coffee joint, I can hand them my beautiful new hydro flask and save a paper cup, sleeve and lid. Beware it absolutely keeps your coffee really hot so don't expect to take an immediate big gulp especially if you're driving. Another feature I love about this cup is the thin edge (for those if us who can't wait for our first big gulp and have left the lid off to cool a bit :) ) The lid has a really good tight fit. And as hot as the coffee is on the inside you would never know it on the outside, well insulated. Looking forward to the Summer months to test it out with iced coffee.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Was sold on the color I'm a sucker for anything on the teal to turquoise spectrum so this fit the bill perfectly. I have never taken it camping or hiking and I probably won't be any time soon. It serves as my coffee tumbler for work. One thing I do not like about this item is the lid, there's no way to close it completely. So I'm always pouring hot coffee down my arm or leg or both. And the lid just kind of ops in and out like a suction rather than screwing in twisty style. Taking the lid off is a big tricky, ultimately testing the strength of my fingernails as I dig them under the lid to open it. Always a bit precarious when there's still liquids in it. I hope they make other kinds of lids. Drink stays warm for most of my morning.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointing lid For such a nice tumbler that is advertised as being for travel, the lid is horrible. I managed to spill coffee on my leg and later the tumbler tipped over in the cup holder and spilled under the car seat, all because the lid holes don't close. Also, the vent fills with coffee so that when I take a drink, i have to blow in both holes to be sure they are clear or I'll get a face-full of coffee. The coffee did stay hot, nice, but not so nice on my leg or chin. PLEASE come up with a good lid for this cup. (I recommend the cup but not the lid)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wish it had a leakproof lid Love the tumbler but wish the lid was leakproof. I didn't do my homework when I ordered it. But it does keep things hot and cold.

Questions & Answers

If they tip or fall do they spill?

Asked by: Jane
The hole in the lid is open and does not seal, so I'd expect some spillage.  I do not have this cup personally, so I don't know if the lid would stay on or otherwise leak.

The lid is the most important part of any coffee mug. I would need to see pictures of how it seals and how it pours. Why is there only a side photo?

Asked by: Swivelable
The lid has an opening but no way to close so will spill if tumbles over. You also have to be a little more aware when drinking so I also, as noted above, align the opening with the hydro flask character on the tumbler.

Does anyone know if the 22oz tumbler fits under a Keurig??

Asked by: Jrpeterson5
Depending on which Keurig machine you have. Ours has the drip catch that you put your mug on when brewing. It slides out to clean. If you remove it, the 22oz tumbler fits easily.
