Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mixed emotions... Pros: I love the look of these boots and have received several compliments on them. I find that they run true to size. They are a little stiff compared to other snow boots I've owned, but they are still pretty comfortable. I wore them out for a full day of shopping, and my feet felt fine! Cons: They are a little difficult to get on and off unless you loosen the laces all the way down. Not a huge deal, but just kind of annoying. My biggest disappointment is that the piping around the toes is starting to peel off after only a few wears. I had hoped that boots at this price point would hold up a little better...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor quality The right boot was "broken" out of the box. When I finally got my foot into the boot, the mis-shaped heel dig into my ankle so badly, I couldn't walk. Then I noticed the rubber trim on the right boot was tearing, even before wearing. I've got a pair of Canadian made Sorels that have lasted for years. The Tivoli is made in Vietnam, and are incredibly poor quality. Back they go. REI: this is beneath you. Please don't carry such poor quality items.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great! little disappointed in appearance(used?) Love the look, feel, fit, comfort, color, just a little disappointed that I may have gotten a used or display model. The fur at the top is matted and not full as in the picture, the stuffing and cardboard in the boot of one was completely missing and the remnants of the other was laying in the box. The color of the boots were slightly off of each other with one being just a slight darker than the other, not real noticeable unless you look for it and they are side by side. None of this was a real deal maker to send back or not love the boot but did not really appreciate the "wonder if these are really new or not" look to the boot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice boots I've had these about two weeks. I bought up a 1/2 size based on other reviews. I found that these run true to size, so mine are a little big. I do unlace them to about the ankle before putting on, but with pointing my toe I do not have any issues getting them on- just pull. Similar to putting on a skate- it will be snug at the ankle where the foot changes direction. Fabric is nice- the tongue is connected to the boot with extra material. I've gotten LOTS of compliments- even men trying to get their wives a pair! I have not had the wear issue some have had, but I didn't buy them to just look pretty. Last pair of Sorel's I had lasted 18 years! I think I will keep these even though they are a bit big. They don't flop around, and I have not tried them with thick socks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from True to size? I ordered a women's size 10, and it was snug. I exchanged it for a 10.5, and it fits much better! Do yourself a favor and order up a half size.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warmth The price on these were great (on sale). A co-worker actually had the and I stopped her in the hall and asked her about them. She told me how warm and comfortable they were and she bought them at REI. So I went and got me a pair. For the most part I love them. They are nice and warm and I wear them with the smart wool socks, which help prevent blisters. My only problem is the boot on my right foot. It tends to dig into me right below my ankle bone and the overall fit on the right foot is too big. Other than that I love these. These will work well with my snowshoes if it ever snows again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NICE AND TOASTY Bought this boots as a gift for my daughter who lives in Alaska. She said the boots are nice looking and keep her feet warm and toasty even when walking in the freezing cold of the north.

I wear a size 10.5 woman shoe in a narrow.  Are these shoes pretty wide?  It does not look like the laces go down around the top of the foot to tighten them up to fit a narrow foot.

Asked by: Evang
These boots are a medium (D) width. Based on your US shoe size, we recommend sizing up to an 11.
