A fantastic paddle
This is a fabulous paddle. It is the top end model (lower angle) in the Accent's line of paddles. Every bit as good as Werner's advanced models. And I say this as I also have and use Werner Cyprus. I got the Pro Core Pace when I read that it was a foam core paddle. I got it in 220cm just for those days when I take a longer trip and want a more relaxed, lower angle stroke. This paddle is not slower than the Cyprus. In fact, it has a fairly large surface - 100sq in. It feels strong, buoyant, and slices the water quietly with no flutter, easy on my arms for longer distance trips. A great, and overlooked paddle, in my opinion. As to my kayak - it is a 21" wide, 17ft sea kayak.
Decent paddle
Bought this paddle and used it for three months of paddling in Alaska. Mid trip the kingpin (attachment point between the two halves) epoxy came unbonded and would not maintain it's feather setting. I tried to have REI/ Accent replace but was inefficient due to enormous turn around time and shipping costs to the factory and the store in anchorage having discontinued stocking them. Ended up fixing it by using epoxy for drones. It has served well for over 200 miles since. It was well worth it at the price point I bought it for (around 250 dollars)
