Rated 5 out of 5 by from best wool leggings I've ever had! This will probably post under my husbands name, I am a 60ish active female I bought these about 3 weeks ago and wear them 3-4 times a week under skirts and dresses. I am comfortable wearing them both casually and for more dressy occasions. They seem to help moderate my temperature so I don't over heat when wearing them indoors. They are great for biking in a skirt on chilly days, (20-30 degrees) I actually stay pretty warm in them once I am peddling. Added bonus is that I don't arrive at my destination over heated. These also are great under winter slacks and for skiing. I wish they came in more colors! they are the perfect winter tights/leggings

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does not run small! Soft and warm. Please do not listen to reviews which state you should order a size up! I went against my better judgement by listening to people, since I have athletic legs and worried extra small would be too tight. :/ They DO NOT run small at all and fit my legs like a straight leg pant lol not a base layer tight... For reference I am 5'8 and 140lbs. Order your usual size if you don't want to be disappointed like me! :) Sizing confusion aside, I'm a big fan of the feel and weight of this merino wool which is soft and not scratchy at all (yay!) like some wool tights tend to be. Will be really great to rotate with the pair of Smartwool tights I already own, during hiking and camping trips through the winter months as well as my February trip to Norway. Very nice product. Totally satisfied with the quality.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I wouldn't call them a "mid weight" I don't know if it's just me or not. But I bought a " lightweight " on sale a couple weeks ago and I bought these so I'd have a "midweight" layer and these are thinner then my "lightweight" . I'm disappointed by the mislabeling of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long field exercises Love these. I am active duty military and go in the field for weeks at a time. Hiking, skiing, and the like. This is my base layer for outdoor activities in 30-0 degree weather in the high Sierras. I slept and worked in them for 10 days and smell was mitigated so well I bought another pair.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic, but lightweight Based on other reviews, I knew these tights were more lightweight than midweight, which suited my needs for backpacking in a mild climate. I love how these tights fit, especially that the waist sits at my natural waist and is not low rise. It makes me feel super comfortable. They are also soft and opaque. Be sure to check the size guide carefully. I ordered my usual size but had to return to size down, but if I had looked at the size guide I wouldn’t have made that mistake because the guide is accurate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great waist band, wear them outdoors like leggins These do the job of heavy weight but are light as can be. I wear these outdoors to walk my dogs and people think I have leggins on. My husband prefers them over the pajama bottoms I used to wear to walk the dogs. I recommend keeping them out of the dryer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super soft and warm! I love these Merino Base Layer tops and bottoms. They’re the perfect fit and super soft. I am not worried at all about sleeping cold on the Appalachian Trail in the fall!

How much do these shrink over time? (If between sizes that would be good to know.) Thank you.
