Great to Stay Cool
I've worn these road biking several times now in 80-90 degree weather in the Colorado sun and have been very happy with them. They are light enough to not feel suffocating and the arm band stays up without being too tight or irritating. The vents on the underside are a smart design. They're pretty cooling on their own, bu it's great to be able to squirt some water on them to get an even more cooling effect. I've also gotten grease on them and they've washed out just fine (I air dry them). While these are listed under men's clothing, I'm a 5'7", 120 lb woman and ordered the small and they fit great. I feel these are an awesome, reasonably priced alternative to some other sleeves out there.
Good sun protection and remarkably cool
Concerned over the amount of sun my arms get during extended rides in the California sun, I purchased these and immediately went for a 4 hour ride in the mid day sun at 80+ degrees for hill climbing. I was worried that they would be too hot during the climbing, but when ever the are wet from sweat they are really cool, maybe cooler than if you were bare armed. They are also light weight and seem to have more than adequate sun protection (now I skip the sunscreen on my arms). They are less than the name brands, but seem more than adequate.
The better you look, the better you work out
I play a lot of basketball and use a shooting sleeve when playing. I bought these more for the feel of using them when working out. They ended up being more than I hoped for! They are a great fit and serve a dual purpose of being bright so as to be seen by vehicles and reflects the sun off to avoid UV damage. Its not mentioned in the description but each order comes with 2. I ordered 2 thinking they came individually and ended up with 4 total but that's fine because I like them so much.
Great for hiking, golf and bike riding
I bought these about a month ago to protect my arms from sun exposure. I use them when road biking, hiking and golfing. They are comfortable and do the job. I'm going to buy another set.
Great Value
Used these about 30 times before I lost them, so just bought them again. Lightweight, reasonably good sun protection. Probably about UPF 30 in practice, but much better than sunscreen. Upper arm elastic degraded a little over time. These were among the least expensive option I could find.
Riding in the Sun
I cycle on a regular basis in the middle of the day. I need to protect my skin from harmful sunlight. The sleeves work perfect with my cycling jerseys. I wear them all the time and they're easy to wash and dry. Great product.
haven't used yet, but seem good quality
Purchased on the "just in case" basis that some time I might think my arms are tan enough .... And, in white, may offer some visibility (and just a bit more warmth) at night.
