Nice fitting shiorts minus the stain problem
These shorts are comfortable except the fact they are stain magnets. I have had similar material in the same color for years, many camping trip, out of the country treks and they don't have a mark on them. These in the first week a trip to the backyard BBQ and some Brat grease, washed per directions, shout cleaner and boiling water and dish soap scrubbing with a toothbrush and little grease marks did not budge. Would just take poor quality back and not leave bad comments, but a little hard to do now.
Extremely, extremely form fitting
Shorts are good quality, great color range, but the fit is TERRIBLE. They are one step away from being biker shorts. Sad cause these in a normal fit could be a great short. Waist is correct but borderline tight in legs. I'm returning.
New favorite shorts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are almost perfect. The fit is EXCELLENT (very athletic but not too short), the style is GREAT and they function like a champ. My only gripe is the placement of the pockets - the slash pockets are a touch high or small and the thigh stash pocket is perfect when driving/riding but a little awkward to access while standing/walking. I'd love a stash pocket and a more traditional cargo on the other leg, but it works the way it is. LOVE these shorts for hiking, climbing, riding and just rockin it around town!
Great product
Thoroughly enjoyed these doing 4-6 mile hikes last weeeken. Great moisture wicking material and stretch fabric.
Love these short's
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I normally get the Columbian Brewha II™ Short, but I thought I would try a pair of these shorts. These shorts are great for walking around town and they look great. I like the zippers on the short pockets(both front & back). Give me the confidence that my wallet or keys will not come out. The shorts a made of Nylon so they dry fast when they get wet unlike my Columbia Brewha II shorts that are made of cotton.
All year hiker
I like this product to hike and bike in. It is a light wicking material, but I wear tights in winter to hike and a padded bike liner to ride with. I like the zippered pockets and the knee length and a tapered fit. This product could have a little more room in the hips. I’m 5’11” 175lbs and the large could be a little more loose. Good product though.
Easy to move in!

If you're looking for loose fitting shorts, these are not for you. However, if you're looking for a stretchable trim fitting easy to wear short that will move with you, this one is for you!! I like them so much that I've ordered multiple ones!!
I'm getting another pair...
Because these shorts are the best! Multiple secure pockets, awesome fit, stylish design and colors, sun protection, AND water/stain repellency. These shorts are everything that I need in my day to day activities. I like them so much I'm getting another pair and the pants as well. They are super comfy and fit well.
On the Go or at Work
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From Spring until Fall these are what I wear. Function and fashion go hand in hand so much that I can wear these on the job as well. The practical zippered pockets plus the added mini leg pocket assure you won't lose anything while on the go. The belt adds to insure a good fit.
A bit snug.
I just mailed these shorts back today because they are too small. I wrote on the return slip exchange for a 42! Other than them being too small the shorts appeared functional. I love Columbia clothing, pretty much the only thing I wear. I will continue to buy your products.
