Rated 2 out of 5 by from Too big in waist, poor drawstring I got these in the same size S as my two Teton pants from last year, which fit fine. But this new style is way too big in the waist, and using the drawstring just created so many gathers that it was bulky. The elastic drawstring was also much harder to use than a nonelastic one, as it kept stretching–and stretching–before it was taut enough to actually pull the waist in. And when I finally got it fitted, the thin drawstring settled right at the top in the waist's fabric tunnel and felt like a skinny rubber band. The white logo at the knee is also very obvious and I'd have preferred it elsewhere. Otherwise, the fabric is nice, it fit elsewhere OK, and the length was good (I'm 5'4 110 lb). I returned them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great pants with 2 problems These are very comfortable pants with one exception: the makers used that awful plastic "thread" and heat fused it to tie it off. The effect at the waist is really awful. Right in front, just under the waist tie, there was a needle sharp piece of the fused plastic that was actually so bad that it left a scratch on my skin. I was able to cut it off carefully with some very sharp small scissors, but the pants were really too uncomfortable to wear before that. Also, I too think the logo on the knee is really lame, though it doesn't irritate my skin -- it's just so stiff that on these soft pants it looks ridiculous. Lose it. But note: I gave the pants four stars and may order another pair so...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Fleece Pants but... These fleece pants are just what I wanted. They are incredibly soft, have a neat cord string at waist which doesn't bulge out and fit very well. I'm 5'5", 122 lbs and the small fits perfectly. The only problem for me is the REI symbol hits right over the knee cap and is very irritating. I have been wearing them to see if the symbol will soften. I have also washed them which helped a little. If they continues to irritate my knee, I will have to return them. I hope not, as these were just the pants I was seeking.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Logo Patch irritates kneecap! PRO: I'm petite (5'1, 98-100 lbs) and the XS fit perfectly! They are just tight enough. Just long enough. The pants are also wicked comfortable, and they kept me very warm during a trail run in 20 degree weather. CON: Similar to another reviewer I am also experiencing irritation with the logo rubbing against my knee cap. I am returning them for this very reason. Such a design fail from an outdoor company!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Everest Lodge-to-Lodge Trek lodge pants. I bought these for an Everest Lodge-to-Lodge Trek in Nepal, from March 14-23, 2017. These were the pants I planned to change into once we finished trekking for the day. These fit the bill perfectly, as the teahouses in which we stayed were only heated in the dining/common room, and then only by a woodstove that burned either wood or dried yak dung, and then only once the sun was setting. Our bedrooms were quite frosty, so I not only wore them in the evenings; I slept in them! Just our luck to be there during the coldest March on record, complete with snow squalls and frozen plumbing. Don't get me wrong--I'd do it again, in a heartbeat, and I'd absolutely bring these pants again!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My winter go-to cozies Thanks to these pants, I look forward to winter because now my bottom half stays warm. From the day these pants arrived and I tried them on, I haven't taken them off. No pant in my winter wardrobe is as comfy and cozy. I ordered a size up so they wouldn't bind. Because the waist is closer to normal waistline, they don't fall down even though plenty roomy. I ordered another pair so I could wash a pair while wearing the other and in case they are discontinued. I'm not crazy about the REI logo on the knee. It's a bit scratchy. The only real down side is the same downside for everything fleece: there is a static charge. Our corgi's white hair jumps onto the pants and clings there, but since I have two pair, I save one for the house and one for the street.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So cozy I never want to take them off Yeah, I live in Phoenix, but I work from home and I don't want to run my heat when it's 66 degrees. So I have worn these pretty much every day since I got them a few weeks ago. They're probably the most comfortable and warm pants I've ever had. If it weren't for my personal "no sweatpants in public" rule, I'd probably never take them off. I agree with others that the logo placement isn't great, but it's not a dealbreaker for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Poor REI placement I bought these pants for outdoor activities in winter, like cross country skiing and snowmachining. When I tried them on, I didn't notice the embroidery placement. Its right above the knee so when you move a lot, it is stiff and uncomfortable. I wont say its painful, but more of an annoyance to have something on your knee when moving. Otherwise these pants are great. Very warm and do the job I wanted/needed for outdoor pants to workout in.

I'm looking for my wife, what size would I get her she is 5'-11" and 150 lbs. She always has a problem finding pants that are long enough.

Asked by: epinephrine
According to general, US women's size charts, the particulars you provided are a women's size 10 in pants with a 32 inch inseam. This would be a size medium for this pant, however, the inseam is an inch too short.
