Rated 2 out of 5 by from Uncomfortable and Tight I'm a solid size small in most athletic bottoms. 5'4", 120 lbs. I purchased these in a small without trying them on and had to return them the next day. They are actually much shorter and tighter than they look on the model. The built in underwear component is very uncomfortable for anyone who has a booty. It cuts in just below the cheek like it's about to pick you up off of the ground. I purchased a pair of Patagonia running shorts this season, too, with the same feature and it is not nearly as uncomfortable. These shorts just run very small. The pockets are located at the front so that if you have hips, the fabric is pulled towards the hips but the pockets pucker in the front. Design is not worth the price. Returned.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very Disappointing I am in my 50's. I speed walk for exercise and to keep in shape for long distance hiking. I have some great longer shorts with a liner and nice front pockets from Moving Comfort/Brooks that I purchased several years ago and absolutely loved. These shorts were a huge disappointment. They are long and have a liner. But that is where the similarity stops. These shorts are cut different to the point they are uncomfortable. The pockets are so shallow I am not willing to put anything in for fear it will slip out. And the waist band is unnecessarily wide, to the point it would be hot and sweaty during exercise. These shorts are going back to REI. I wish Moving Comfort/Brooks would bring the Journey short back for those women (like me) who want a comfortable longer short with a liner and functional pockets for keys, tissues, chap stick, and a cell phone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Running Shorts I'm 5'4", 125 pounds, 36" hips and size M fits perfectly. These shorts are flattering, lightweight and do not creep up. I swore I would never wear running shorts with built in liners, but these are so comfortable I am a new convert. I love that these shorts have side pockets as well as slits in the back of the waistband for storage. Even though these are 7 inches long the side slits give the illusion of shorter shorts so you don't look frumpy. I immediately bought four more fearing these won't be made anymore and I will no longer have a go to running short.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Must have shorts! Being 5'5, 160 the large fit well, but with light things like a phone and keys in my pockets, I was constantly pulling them up. I recently exchanged them for medium and it's WAY better! The waistband occasionally folds over when I bend down, but it's not too bothersome. I like the pockets at my hips as well as the 2 secret pockets in the back waistband. The length is perfect and flattering. It doesn't ride up in my inner thighs. I've worn them for hiking and running.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fits Right and Walking is a Breeze Like the light material, side pockets and the side split making walking very comfortable. Pricing is a little high or otherwise it would get 5 stars.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Returned for poor fit This product was not as advertised or reviewed. The shorts run small and they have a sewn in panty that makes for an uncomfortable fit. They were not suitable for my purpose.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shorts I really like these shorts a lot. They definitely don't fit the way Brooks 7" shorts usually fit, otherwise I'd give them a 5. I am 5'10" and 130lbs and usually wear a small. I had to go up to a medium in these because the pockets pulled across the front in the smaller size. The pockets are roomy but am not sure I'll ever use them because the slit is so big that most things would just fall out. It would be nice if there was at least a velcro loop to hold onto keys. The fabric is great, the inside panty is comfortable. I'd recommend them, just go up a size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Now a shorts convert I looooooove these shorts. As someone who never wears shorts because they often bind or creep up these are one of my new fav clothing items. I also swore off built-in liners but these are SO comfortable. These shorts do double duty for workout and casual weekend activities due to the high-end looking material. Easy and breezy, I'll be back for more.

Can you fit an iphone 6 in the pocket without it falling out if you are walking?

Asked by: JBFjbf
An iphone 6 will fit into the Chaser Shorts 7" Inseam short s and should stay without any trouble while walking. It will be a close fit though, so running would not be recommended with an iphone 6 in the pocket.
