Make difficult uphills easy.
Used these on a skier-packed cross-country ski trail after a 15" November snowfall in the northern rockies. They eliminated all the unpredictable uphill "slips" while retaining some glide on the flats. Don't expect them to climb as well as a full-length climbing skin. However, they performed as I expected & I am happy. Very low bulk and very lightweight. They were a little hard to get a finger under them to take them off at 14F (with cold fingers).
