Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid tire but high rolling resistance I put this on my CX bike because I do a lot of commuting. After doing some research I went with the contact II. Pros: The reflective stripe around the tire is really nice and seems pretty effective. Solid grip. I regularly go on dirt and grave, haven't had any issues with it. I have had to brake suddenly a few times and I skidded a little more than i thought i would. Easy to put on, took me less than 2 minutes Downsides: Heavy for a commuting tire Really high rolling resistance. I was coming from some CX tires and noticed a difference immediately. Overall: Will probably take this tire off and save it for the fall when there is less light/i'm doing more commuting at night.

Description says 'designed and optimized for e-bikes'. I assume this refers to electric bikes. Is it not recommend for regular bikes?

What does 'Reflex' refer to in the name of this tire?

Would this tire also work well on groomed unpaved trails, ie, crushed stone or clay. I'm trying to find a nice compromise between lower resistance faster tires for pavement and grip adequacy when occasionally riding off-pavement such as the C & O trail

The Contact II Reflex Bike Tire is a good choice for groomed, unpaved trails.
