Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for the desert I just bought this rope over the summer and broke it in last week in Indian Creek. This rope handles great! Smooth feed, smooth handling, a decent amount of stretch, and it felt pretty durable. The 70m makes it easy to get up most of the splitters out there without having to tie ropes together. We sent this thing on splitters for 3 days, took it up a 5 pitch desert tower, and climbed all day on Wall Street. It's a great all around rope and feels pretty light. I used the 9.5mm 70m dry Petzl Arial the last couple of years and this thing is just as good if not better. Looking forward to giving it some alpine action this winter!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this rope! This rope is extremely lightweight, durable, and easy to use. The size is perfect, I wouldn't want anything bigger. If this is your first rope, or your 100th, I would recommend it to anyone.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty dry Just got this but used it to lead a pretty moist route on a rainy day. It shed mud and moisture pretty well, and was dry by the end of the day. It is easy to handle and in general seems nice. Not quite as nice as my friends edelweiss rope though, which was surprising.

In the rope image, there is print on the rope stating 60m, but the selection to add to cart states 70m.  Which is the correct length?

Asked by: caseymalone
This is a 70 meter rope. The photo taken from Mammut's web site shows 60m for both their 60 & 70 meter ropes.
