Great boundary water boot
Quetico boundary water trip first use. Great performance, very comfortable, arch strap keeps the boot snug when portaging. This is a wet boot and I was wearing wool boot liner socks. I wear a 10 to 10 1/2 but went up to an 11 as this is not a hiking boot and liked the extra toe space. Agree with other reviewers that if there are a lot of rocky portages this may not be the right choice. Suggestions for the manufacturer add a stone guard mid sole and weep holes.

Great boot, but they need weep holes.
Great fit and easy to remove at the end of the day. Wish they had weep holes as the water they hold is pretty rough. Definitely a warm boot though... they make early season paddling a bit more manageable.

Great for white water rafting!

Purchased these with white water rafting in mind. Our trip included about 1hr downhill hike, so those shoes proved sturdy and grippy enough for that as well. Rafting part was also great in these, good traction, feet warm. I have done a few white water rafting trips and having good shoes is probably one of the most important things that will keep you confident and in the raft. The sticky latches held well (I was worried they'd come undone). The only thing is as soon as you are out of the water, the shoes get really hot (neoprene and all). So unless you are planning to hike in water, maybe not the best choice for hiking.

Excellent paddling shoe

I have been using this wetshoe for years, and own a second pair in a larger size that I use for over warm socks and/or drysuit booties for cold weather. I find they provide adequaan warmth for cool, shoulder season days. The soles aren't completely stiff but are sturdy enough and have good grip and good toe protection for just about any conditions in or out of the water, and they are flexible enough to fit comfortably inside a medium volume kayak (P&H Cetus MV, P&H Volan) even with my big feet. Size runs slightly small -- I usually need a 11 1/2 or 12 shoe, the size 12 boots are the right size for me for summer; I use a 13 to accomodate layers for cold water. I've using the same 2 pairs for years with no significant signs of wear. They do not provide arch or ankle support though so they may not be the best choice for a trip with long portage routes.

Great boots

Great boots that kept my feet warm while kayaking in Maine. Zipper on the side helped with getting them off when done.

Well made and designed wet shoe

Nice wet shoe for paddling. They grip the ground well and stay snug on your feet. They are comfortable for short walks. They don't grip pedals well on a pedal kayak.
