LOVE these!

Found my first pair of these in black at an REI garage sale a year ago... didn't know the brand and wouldn't have thought to even try these on otherwise. Most women's pans are too short and/or too poorly constructed for me. Once I tried them, I loved them. They're comfortable, well-constructed (I'm picky - I sew) and flattering (which is a great bonus when you're pushing 60:) AND they're long enough (I'm just under 6' tall!). I wear the heck out of them - dance, walking and working from home. More colors, please!

Great fit, don't wear well

I got these pants in February and LOVE the fit and comfort. I wore them quite a bit but after a month or two I realized the fabric was not wearing well. It started to pill up and they started to look pretty bad just after 3 months of wear. I would expect a $90 pair of pants to last much longer. I returned and of course REI took them back and gave me a full refund.

Super Comfy!

I've had mine for about a month, and I've worn them so much that I think I should probably buy another pair before my friends notice I'm always in them. The charcoal is a great shade- goes with almost anything. Love to wear them with tennis shoes, hiking boots, and cute flip flops. They are the perfect length, but I also love to pull the cord at the bottom to cinch them up a bit- then I roll them up just a couple of inches. Super cute! The stretchy waistband isn't binding- very comfy. I bought them for a multi-state camping/hiking trip this summer because they will be perfect for travel, will dry quickly, and won't be too hot.

Stitching frays easily

I bought these pants to use for dog agility. They are the most comfortable pants I have worn for this so far. However I have worn them only twice, and the stitching along the outside thigh is fraying as if somebody took sandpaper to it. i have only sat in my car or a camp chair in them and I am pretty disappointed with how poorly they wear, for the price that they are! I will probably return them.

I love and hate these pants

These pants are extraordinarily comfortable, flattering, lightweight and durable. They are pleasantly unlike any pants I've ever owned and are my go-to weekend pants. HOWEVER, they pill like nothing I've ever seen before. And this started happening IMMEDIATELY after I bought them. Luckily, I own a pill remover, and I use it every few months on these pants, but I want anyone who spends close to $90 on these to know that although these pants are comfortable and flattering, there is some serious maintenance required to keep them presentable and attractive. Just beware.

Comfortable, soft, cute

The fabric lays nicely, because it's not too thick like you get with a lot of athletic brands. The wide waistband gently holds you in without squeezing too much. The ruching on the legs is fun and removes the nerdy factor that many outdoor brand pants have. I only wish there were pockets or extra stitching over the booty. I feel a bit on display with the thinner fabric. So I usually wear these pants with shirts that hang over. I wear them a lot - with sandals or athletic shoes. They're super comfortable and great for many situations.

Very comfortable and easy to move in

Light and stretchy fabric allows for free movement; one could probably do splits in these. (Can't test this because I can't do splits!) Fantastic for work as a massage therapist. The pockets are big enough to tuck in a 2-oz oil or liniment bottle: very handy. The trousers are large; I'm glad I ordered a small! (I am 5'4" and 140 lb, average-length torso and legs). They are way too long, that's why I only give them four stars. No info on the specs page (that I saw at least) that indicated there's a gathering cord in leg hems. Was trying to see how I should hem them when I noticed it, plus a snap in the lower leg to hold excess cord so it doesn't drag. Going to get another pair for work. Will figure out how to hem and still access gathering cord...would be nice to have a boot-leg option like in the product photos.

Comfortable, but...

I so wanted to like these pants, but alas the small was too tight in the tush (I'm 5'5", 125lbs; not much of a booty, so this was a surprise fitting issue for me. I wear small in all my other Lucy pants). With no back pockets, as another reviewer mentioned, these felt a bit too snug & revealing. And with winter approaching (along with an extra pound or two!), I took them back to the store in hopes of the medium being a better fit. That size fit much better overall, but was much too long (my running shoes were no where near enough to accommodate the length). I really liked the boot cut of the pants & the wide waist band was very comfortable. I don't think the thinner material would be warm enough on cold or windy days; they'd probably be great for lounging, on non-wintery days, or for less intense exercise options. The elastic to tighten the legs at the bottom makes no sense to me. It completely changes the look, but there's no way to secure the elastic so just moving around in the dressing room, they loosened back up. If you're taller, you should definitely check these pants out, but you might want to size up.

Fit beautifully!

I've had these for a few weeks and I have to make myself only wear them a couple times a week. I work as a personal trainer and Pilates instructor. These pants fit well and let me move however I need to. I've had several compliments on how they look. The pockets are handy and they wash up well. I'm going ot have to get more.

Comfort and style - check and check

I selected these after reviewing similar pants from two other retailers based on other reviews. The fit is very flattering, and the style is great. These are light enough that I'll be able to wear them around in the spring and early summer without roasting. I am 5'8", 125 lb and the smalls fit very well. The medium would probably be too big.
