Sizing notes

Measure around the hand at the widest part of the palm, not including the thumb.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but not a hit. Okay so the work to 45 deg F. which is better than advertised. The plastic ribbing on the back of the index finger is annoying when trying to use the wipe fabric on the thumb ... you always catch some of the plastic. Also the seam between the Yellow and Black running down the back of the middle finger is not a flat seam. I've noticed if I used these gloves while MTB I will start noticing the seam pressing into the back of my hand and will end up with a nice indentation after the ride ... its another annoying feature. The Smart phone touch fingers is great and works nicely. Look to be durable but the yellow has already picked up some stains.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite Glove I bought a pair of these at the outlet near Park City because it was still snowy on the top in May. Loved them. Bought a second pair from REI. Back for a third pair. I wear them in Santa Cruz all year because they are slightly loose like a work glove so they don't get too hot, are easy to get on and off, and they are a little thicker than a glove designed strictly for palm padding so they protect from branches better. The palm padding is in the right place. They don't rip. They are a nice, durable, provide protection, padded just right glove that I always want 2 pair of so I'm never without. The phone friendly finger tips is awesome as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like them so far Wore them 2 time now, both on 40 Degree's days. On the road ride, they were alittle cool. Not as warm as what I'd like. The second ride was Mtn biking, prefect! Hands were a nice temp. Good grip on the bar, nice thin palm, padding in the right spots. The finger for the touch screen is a nice feature. My only criticism might be, I wish the fingers were a bit longer. I have this problem with all gloves. They did stretch a little after wearing awhile.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Where's the padding? I bought these because I needed the touchscreen compatibility, as I use a smartphone app for my cycling computer. That part works fine, and the weight is appropriate for California winters. But the padding, or rather lack of same, has me puzzled. It doesn't resemble the padding on any bicycling glove I have ever seen. There is a line of small pads at the base of the fingers... OK, fine. There are two pads on the inside of the thumb... OK. But there is no padding whatsoever across the entire palm, where your weight is pressing against the handlebar — what's with that? And there are three pads clustered at the outside of the heel of the palm, where you will never, ever put pressure in normal riding — the only function would be to protect your hand in a fall. So I can't recommend these unless you have padded handlebars, or are only riding for short distances. Fortunately, that includes most of my cold weather riding — otherwise, I would be returning them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice for cool rides This gloves have a good fit and secure wrist closure to go over a thin (under armor thermal) base layer or with plenty of quality velcro to not worry about readjusting while riding. Further, the wrist has a low enough profile for any second sleeved layer to slip over cleanly. After my first use, a 65 mile road ride with a 40 degree (and windy) start temp, I was a little worried about these gloves being enough to keep my hands warm and the wind off my fingers. They out-performed my expectations and ended up being the perfect choice for the day. My hands actually began to sweat a little after the first hour or two but I imagine being wind proof and water resistant there is an expected compromise of breathability. I have not used them for mountain biking yet but imagine they will work well in the woods too while keeping a secure grip with dexterity for shifting and braking. These gloves have stretched a bit but not enough to suggest going down a size but will lower a potential 5 star product to 4.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cold weather glove... in Texas! I needed a glove that kept my hands warm, the wind out, and wasn't too bulky. Cold weather in Texas means in the 30's, and this glove did not disappoint. The quality of construction is superb, and fits really well with no bunching anywhere. Highly recommended!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable but only for moderate temps I purchased these as my winter riding gloves as I do not go out in super cold temps. They are very comfortable but having ridden them a few times now they are only effective in keeping hands warm down to the low 40sF. Other than this they were water resistant and operated very well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good fit, but fingers are a little tight Comfortable. Not too warm. Good ventilation for around 15 degrees by Celcius. Good fit, seams are not obtrusive, but fingers are a little tight. However, all biking gloves with full fingers I tries suffer from the same issue for some reason. Either tight finger or too big size.

Can these gloves be laundered in my washing machine and still be supple and provide warmth afterward? I was thinking of washing them in cold water with mild soap, using no fabric softener, and letting them line dry.

Asked by: Abeth
These can be machine washed in cold water with mild soap. We recommend air drying them.
