Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally! I have been looking for a lightweight, fully breathable rain jacket, and this is it. The summers in the mid-Atlantic are incredibly humid and most rain jackets make you feel as if you are in a sauna. This rain jacket allows most of that steam to dissipate. The fit is very nice (I used their fit guide to decide the size) and it sheds water like a duck. It also has underarm vents that you can unzip to vent even more heat (just remember to keep them zipped during heavy rain or it will let in the water). The hood is adjustable, so you can keep your head dry with or without a hat. All in all, this is a very nice rain jacket and reasonably priced. I will be buying more North Face clothing products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Breathable and Comfortable I bought this coat for a trip to the amazon. I only needed it a few times, but when I wore it I was the most comfortable of our group. The coat breaths very well, I never felt hot except for one time lugging a heavy backpack though the airport in it. The takes up almost no space and does not wrinkle. The only down side to it was that it is not warm--which is not its purpose. When I wore it on a windy day as an extra layer, it did not add a lot. Overall it was excellent. People who had a competing brand (which I cannot mention here per the rules) were disappointed with their choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Summer Rain Protection I really love this jacket. I got it in XL orange for my tall and large frame and it fits very well and looks great. I used the NF sizing guidelines to select the size. I purchased it mainly because I am currently on crutches from a sports injury. I live in the DC area where summers can be hot, humid, with lots of thunderstorms. Crutches and umbrellas don't mix very well and that was my main purpose in buying it. It's very lightweight, like you are wearing nothing. You don't need to be on crutches to love this jacket. It's a great product. As a shell it will be great year-round.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Gore-Tex jacket This is a great Gore-Tex jacket that is well made from a tough material and weights less than most raingear. The upper pocket is positioned so it is usable while wearing a backpack. The jacket has a loose enough fit to accommodate insulation layers underneath. The hood has the proper adjustments to keep your head dry in rough weather and the jacket has the ever popular and oh so helpful pit zips. I recommend this jacket for the type of person looking for more serious, long-lasting, raingear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW Light and Bright I order the Dryzzle Jacket a few weeks ago...the service was very good, my order arrived promptly . The jacket fits wonderfully well, its lightweight and slime lines adds to the very comfortable fit. I ordered the XXL and I was glad I did. I normal take and XL , however, this XXL offers additional and comfortable space . The jacket is very light, hardly know you have it on, and keeps me dry in all rainy conditions. I have been very pleased with all the North Face purchases I have made over the years, but this jacket exceeded anything to date. If you are looking for an all weather light weight rain jacket than the Dryzzle Jacket is for you..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lightweight jacket, took to Europe I just took this jacket to Europe, and glad I did. It is lightweight, packable, and waterproof. I used it as a lightweight windbreaker and rain shell. It's not meant to keep you warm in cold weather, so I combined it with a Thermoball which worked great. In fact, the two together got toasty in 40 degrees with rain. That said, great shell. I would use this for travel, hiking, camping, general outdoors. You could try it with cycling or running as well. I have a swimmers build. I bought the XL and if fit my shoulders just fine. there was extra room around the waist, but that is normal for my frame. Great jacket.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The North Face is not what it used to be My previous The North Face rain jacket that I bought 10 years ago was of much better quality than the same product they're offering today. Since the seams started leaking on my old rain jacket, The North Face offered a new rain jacket of my choice at half price. I chose the Dryzzle jacket, but am disappointed by it's poor quality. For example: The North Face cheapened down the design so much that they didn't even bother to including something that allows me to hang my coat. Now I have to wrap the thin Goretex fabric around a hook if I'd like to hang my coat, and that's where this coat will be damaged soon, and starts leaking!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My first North Face I bought the Dryzzle Jacket for a trip to China in late October and early November 2016. I first wore the jacket on a wet drizzley day climbing the Great Wall. The jacket kept me dry and warm and when I was climbing the jacket breathed keeping me from becoming overheated. The next day in Tiananmen Square was windy and cool. Again the North Face Dryzzle Jacket preformed as advertised, I was comfortable walking through the square and the Forbidden City. A few days later I had a chance to use my jacket again on a rainy cool night cruise on the Bund in Shanghai. It began raining and I pulled the jacket out of my back pack, the jacket came out with out wrinkles! I was warm and dry as the we cruised the Bund and admired the skyline! A great jacket for travel and for home! It will be a great Jacket for the rainy northwest winters.

Is this jacket packable? Can it compress down into a pocket like a rain jacket? Thanks.

Asked by: Calculon11
The Dryzzle does not stuff into its own pocket. It does compress down pretty small, so it is considered packable.
