Worth every penny

I bought these a few months back and have worn them just about everyday for workouts. I love these shoes, they have seemed to improve my posture and the definitely help my knees out by making a more stable platform for me while lifting. It takes a little getting used to if you have not worn minimalist before but they will work out your calves just wearing and strengthen your stabilizer muscles in your legs. I do run in them also and they are great just be careful if you get into some rocky areas. I usually wear a 12.5-13 and the size 46 fit perfect. The only complaint I have is the elastic band broke the first few days I had them but that's nothing REI won't take of whenever I'm back.

Good shoe

I bought these to do my HIIT training workouts. Be sure to get your right size. I wear a 12.5 (46) but after a workout I think they stretched out a bit and became uncomfortable. So I exchanged them for a size 45 and they felt great in my next workout. Very lightweight and breathable material. The lacing system makes for a snug and quick transition. Durable outsole, great for a gym floor with good traction, I am sure it can handle outside runs on the pavement. There are pods on the bottom of the shoe which may feel uncomfortable at first. But the more you break them in you get use to them. Good arch support and heel cup, but this depends on the size. I don't think you will know if it is your perfect size until you do your first workout. Good workout shoe.

Great Shoe!

My 1st pair of Vibrams and am very pleased. Used them twice now in my high intensity workout with no problems. Very comfortable and actually improves my mobility while exercising. Just make sure to get the right size. My foot size was a 42 but got a 41 thinking I needed it snug. Toes hurt real bad so exchanged them for 42's and they fit perfectly.

Delicious Shoes (not edible)

These are pretty good. I have owned and destroyed two pairs of these so far, and would get a third except that sometimes the lacing lock mechinism sometimes comes loose over time. They are great shoes though, and when I say I destroyed them it is not because the shoe quality is not good. Each of these pairs lasted me about a year, but I regularly work 16-18 hour days doing a variety of activity and workouts daily, most of which involve being on my feet. I use these constantly, so its a miracle they really last a year. The only other problem I have had with these is that the canvas on the inside of my big toes wears and breaks, which exposes my toes. That has happened in other pairs of toe shoes though, so I do not think it is really a problem that can be avoided. Overall, these are really good. I would attribute pretty much all the "problems" I had with them to just excessive use.

bring your feet in a natural stance

I bought them one month ago and started using them gradually. I use them mainly for walking around the house and short walks. I have even used them for a short light hike (2h) on moderate terrain. They are a pleasure to the foot on soft, grassy terrain. They bring your feet in a natural position, like walking barefoot but with the light protection of the vibram sole. They are not the best choice for rocky terrain.

Super comfortable footwear

I bought these shoes a month ago, and I love them. I do not run in them, I just wear them for comfort. My feet and knees feel better because these shoes just let my feet be!

Very comfortable and great for running!

I use this product for running and for daily wear as well. The comfort is fantastic. I really like the feeling of being closer to barefoot. It feels good to walk in and run it. Running on pavement for too long is uncomfortable. Switching between grass and pavement is just fine though. I would recommend this product. The color scheme for this pair is also good. The grey-black-tinybitofyellow looks great. Great pair of shoes!

Most comfortable shoe I have bought

I walk about 5 miles a day for exercise. These are the most comfortable and durable shoes I have ever used. They fit and feel great. Looking at buying an other pair for hiking.

Stitching comes apart

It fits well, comfortable and secure. I bough these to wear in the gym and after 1 year, the stitching is coming apart on one shoe right where my arch is. Very disappointing.

good fit/bad fit

I ordered this pair online becasue it was on sale. The smallest size available was about what I normally wear in regular shoes, but every manufacture is a little different. the actual foot part fits fine, but I feel like my toes slide around a lot. Can't find a smaller size online or in a store.
