I bought these to use for Tai Chi and they are the best shoes I’ve ever used for feeling the floor, a stable foot stance, quiet and smooth movements. The laces allow for a tight and comfortable fit for kicks and turns,

Great pick for my purpose.
I only wear these for Tai Chi and they are excellent for that purpose. Wide toe box and great ground feel. Just the right grip to still allow free movement. I cannot vouch for how well they would hold up as a barefoot runner as I have not used them for that purpose but they work well for what I bought them for.
