Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great fabric, but could be cut better The underwear are light and comfortable. Someone complained that there is a center seam on the back that causes a wedgie: he is correct. A center seam is cheaper to produce than two seams running down each side (in essence making three panels on the rear, instead of two). REI should reconsider the design to make an ok product great. I am keeping one pair (I wore it already), but returning the unworn pair. I don't feel ripped off, but I'm not happy either.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not quite perfect Good: - comfortable material - solid construction - waist fits well Bad: - Legs too long and opening too wide - Middle seam on the back gives slight wedgie These boxers are very comfortable aside from the slight wedgie. The long and wide legs don't stay in place and scrunch up when you sit or lie down, which gets annoying when you have to adjust a lot. This is more of a personal preference, but I find REI boxer briefs to be much more comfortable since they have neither of the issues listed above.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good, but... Bought to compare to Patagonia...perform just as well but the fly is not as deep on these. Not a deal breaker, but it would be nice to have a better opening. As with other REI branded product, its still pretty good!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wear and forget I love them! I replaced all of my cotton briefs for these and wear them everyday, for both work and play. For me, I literally put them on and forget they're there; which means they're extremely comfortable. I don't tend to buy these though at full price; I typically wait for sales and then a couple pair. And, no, I'm not a paid reviewer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great undies I have 4 or 5 pairs of these, and I have to say they're my favorite boxers. I wear them when I'm active or just day to day. They're comfortable and american made.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Yet I have 6 of these new boxers. Much better than the last version, super light weight, cool, very comfortable waist band.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice boxers, very soft and comfortable, too expen I like the material and the fit, i even don't mind the single seam because i tend to get butt chafing on long hot hikes with 50 pound packs. What i can't figure out, however, is why these boxers are so freaking expensive. They are about 30% more than i could ever see myself paying for a pair of boxers that don't use some fancy fabric. As it stands, i bought one pair, and while i do like them, the value just isn't there.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay for hot weather and in town. I really wanted to love these. I'm definitely a boxer guy and what underwear I choose to wear can have a huge impact on my comfort. While these do have a lot of pros, the cons are really detrimental on a long trail. I have moved on to exofficio brand and loving them (except the price). Pros: Nice fit Great moisture wicking Not abrasive Price Cons: They have a tendency to bunch up (really bad) They get stinky fast.
