Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick Easy Upgrade/fix I bought this buckle to replace a cheap Velcro strap on my roof top tent. The strap had a small d-ring and Velcro stitched to webbing that would occasionally come apart. I cut off the d-ring and threaded the steel rod from this buckle through and then removed the Velcro on the webbing. The strap is much more secure now and never comes apart. Very happy with the buckle and not having to restitch the webbing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for BOB strollers We needed a replacement buckle for our BOB stroller after ours broke. Had to cut the plastic of the old buckle to remove from the strap using tin snips. The strap connected to the handle bars took some work to thread through the new buckle but worked okay after some time. The new buckle attached easily to the loop in the strap attached to the lower portion of the stroller. Works great!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great field repair option I purchased several of these for pannier bags I use to commute year-round, and they've been solid. I didn't want to have to deal with re-stitching buckles to the panniers, and stumbled across these at my local REI, so I decided to try them out and have not been disappointed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from great idea, slide too tight. I purchased this to repair a gentle leader dog collar. The male end is far too narrow to accept the 1/2 inch flat webbing. I did get it on with scissors, a lighter, and pliers. However it cannot be adjusted in the field, as it is too tight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great way to save a pack/bag I used the 1.5" on a cinch strap for a Sherpak Go. Much easier than trying to restitch that strap to install another type of buckle. Once on it worked flawlessly.

How many per pack? On Amazon, these run about a buck a piece...

This is one buckle that is used to repair a broken buckle. It is not the same as a cheap buckle you may see on Amazon. It has a threaded steel rod to go into the previous location of the broken buckle without having to restitch the strap.
