Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great multi-purpose I have an older version of these sacks which I purchased about 6 years ago. I use them pretty regularly for travel, day hikes, mountain biking, and kayaking. So far they've held up well and kept the gear in my backpack or camelback dry even when I've tipped the kayak. I like the improvement of adding the D rings to the newer versions, I've had to tie mine down individually with small d-rings or bungees. I am planning to purchase another set and some larger ones for camping/backpacking.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from taking them back for return I was excited about this OR three pack of small waterproof rolltop bags. They look nicely made and finished, seam tape is applied evenly, roll top looks sturdy, and the material is a bit thicker (maybe tougher) than, say, Sea to Summit Ultra Sil (which I also own). Con: bottom of bags are all flat seams rather than round bottom. That reduces the volume available in the bag. Con: I puffed the bags up a bit and carefully rolled each closere four times and secured. I was able to squeeze air out of all three bags without much effort. Stuffed with a down jacket, tightly compressed, and left overnight, the largest bag lost all its compression and drew quite a bit of air into the sack. If that sack had been wet on the outside, or sitting in the bottom of a wet pack, it would of drawn moisture in with that air... My sea to summit ultra sil bags stay compressed and air tight well over 24 hours... I conclude they are worth the extra cost, and the outdoor research sacks are not worth the savings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredibly Useful I actually use this for backpacking, not water activities. But it has added peace of mind that all of my stuff stays dry no matter how wet my pack gets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little bags We used these handy little sacks on day hikes through the Canadian Rockies in July, and they worked great. An easy way to organize your pack and to find things fast. And great to know that smartphones, cameras, wallets etc will stay dry in a downpour.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Waterproofing fails, not for immersion When I first got these bags, they kept things fairly dry, but after a year the waterproofing has failed. Don't trust these for immersion or for extended exposure to water. May be OK for keeping splashes off

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No nonsense I use these for hiking, backpacking and water activities. Whatever I put in them stays dry, period. From extra layers to change into to vaping pens or electronics anything, these just do the job. The D-rings are really cool and simplify everything.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Simple, quality dry sacks Thought the smaller sacks would be too small but I found a purpose for all 3. They served me well. I'm glad I had them.
