Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love at first bite! These are absolutely amazing! Honestly, I thought they'd be good, but they are great. I felt like I did have more energy and after eating one waffle, I definitely wanted more. It's like a small, thin waffle with honey in it and just wonderful goodness. I don't know if I ever want to try bloks/chews, energy gels or anything else. These are that good. Also, if you are biking and find that the waffles are hard to open in the packaging, think ahead and open them before you start riding and put them in a plastic baggies. I have found that's the easiest way to open them while biking.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from yummy crumbly snack I love the honey stinger waffles, and the gingersnap flavor is delicious! It has a slightly spicier kick than the regular honey waffles. These waffles are way too crumbly to take on the go, but they make an awesome post run snack, and aren't too sweet. I've tried them for pre run fueling, but I think I'd have to eat it about 1-1.5 hours early so it wouldn't be so heavy in my belly, and by then most of the benefit would be gone. Give them a try if you're looking for a delicious treat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super tasty I bought the lemon and honey flavors for a recent backpacking trip. They are both super tasty and the lemon is my favorite. It was so good that my brother tried to bargain a trade with his pro bar. I laughed at him - not a chance! It's not too sweet, taste like "regular food" instead of an energy bar. Only drawback is that it can get very crumbly if crushed. I accidentally found a way to counter that when I had it stored on one of my inside jacket pockets and the melted honey made the waffle stick together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from yummy real food I can eat while running The main problem with these is they taste so good, that my kids are always stealing them and/or begging for them. I run more than I bike-- these go down great on my long training runs, when I can't just eat gels. It's real food, has some fat in them, digests well, and as my kids realize, very very yummy. I do bring some on hikes to reward my kids after making it up some huge hill. One drawback is that in really cold weather, they get pretty hard and tough to chew, though I stick them in my mouth and let them melt -- so it lasts longer and maybe not a drawback. Not sure if the ones with Lance on them will become collectors items or not. There is a technique to opening the wrapper-- pull apart the sides, rather than ripping from the top, otherwise gets messy. Easier to handle running, might be difficult biking, as one other reviewer mentioned.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Delicious* convenient workout snack These are delicious. Sweet, soft, and digestible on long (60 min+) workouts. They get very chewy in subfreezing temps, but are still good. The vanilla ad honey flavors get 5 stars. The lemon and strawberry are 4 stars - a little fake tasting but still good. *The chocolate is only chocolate-ish and a little cardboardy-tasting. That is the only one I avoid - 2 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from when life hands you a lemon wafer... I love all the Stinger Wafers. Chocolate being my favorite. And now Lemon being the least. Just didnt like the taste. However; the wafers themselves are a great product. Easy to pack and just the right portion size. I can usually feel the energy boost almost the moment Im done. And again the portion is small enough that I never feel heavy from it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Very light Everyone seems to love these, so maybe my expectations were too high? I've only tried Lemon flavor so far, but i was a bit underwhelmed by the lack of lemony zing! Also, the waffle itself is very light and small..i opened it thinking i'd eat half as an afternoon snack at work, but it's about 4 or 5 bites total, so i downed the entire thing. It definitely goes down easy and doesn't stick in your teeth as someone else said, so compared to like an old school PowerBar or something, it's much friendlier...doesn't require a big water chaser. To me they seem more aimed at a snack at your desk rather than a workout supplement...the nutritional numbers are pretty snack like and personally speaking, they're not filling enough for say, a power snack during a mtn bike ride. They're priced like every other energy bar, but seem to provide about 2/3 the calories and carbs and 2x the fat than say a ClifBar (plus 0 protein and very little fiber). Also, while they are flat and lightweight for stuffing in your jersey or backpack, they also seem a little fragile, as many bits of the waffle break away and dump out in your lap when you open it if you've abused them a bit before eating. I have other flavors to try, so maybe they'll be more interesting tasting, but in the end i think they'll end up in my desk drawer at work instead of along for a big bike ride or snowboard..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Who doesn't love these? I enjoy these as a treat, personally! With coffee or under a tree taking a break during a ride. They make me feel very "Euro" and you can make a lot of friends fast if you carry a few extra in your pocket (they are so's easy!) Get creative on toppings...Justin's almond butter and berries/banana! Just sayin'
