Best Smith Guide Book Out There

This is the one! Over 1800 routes! Some new routes have been bolted since this version was published but this is the best guide book out there for smith rock. (This is the Falcon Guides Alan Watts book) If youre planning to climb at Smith this book is unbeatable! Yes, buy it.

Lots of Information

We bought this book for our first trip to Smith Rock and honestly didn’t find it super useful. It has tons of good information for sure, but it is a bit overwhelming and not laid out in the most convenient way. If you are going to smith rock a lot it’s probably a good buy. If not, I’d go with mountain project.

Ok, but not great

Lacking many good routes. For the full Smith experience, get the Watts guide (FalconGuides).
