Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for teaching toddlers to feed themselves! we bought a pack of these from the REI Outlet and they've paid for themselves! they're inexpensive, the perfect size for toddlers/kids, and they've got a good shape to both the fork side and the spoon side. these are the ONLY utensils we give our son (he's 19 months old and has been using them since we got them about 8 months ago). the people who are complaining that they break sound like adults who didn't want the extra half an ounce of weight that comes from using the adult sized ones. the adult ones have a serrated tine on the fork end that allows for easy cutting of food. the kid ones do NOT. there's a reason there are two different sizes! we have the large ones too and i use them all the time with the lunches i pack for work days; they're not just for camping!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A cocktail spork, great for baby, child, or adult The fork end is a little stabby, so use it with your kids at your own risk. I feed my 10 month old with these sporks when we are out and about. It's really more of a cocktail spork due to it's size, but the separated fork and spoon end works well when you are feeding them one kind of food, or mixed food. I sent it with my love to use in her lunch to spread condiments on her crackers, and it worked. For the price (~$8) and the quantity it isn't too bad, but these are singly more expensive than a full sized one The color sets are divided in traditional blue, pink, or the not so traditional black, yellow, and white- unless that's for gender neutral children. I am giving these sporks a top rating because these work well for us, but I think the pricing is a little problematic. I wish they were a little less expensive (singly they are more expensive than the larger size), were sold singly, or didn't come in primarily blue-for-boys, pink-for-girls sets. Color sets that were more random, or varied would be nice.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nice idea, poor material Our 2 year old loved using this camping. First one tine broke, and he still enjoyed it. Then another tine broke...

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Brittle. Not reliable I really liked having these on hand in both my overnight pack and my office. They are merely cheap plastic however and I broke all three. The last one just had a fork tong break in my mouth and I had to spit out my food. If you are going to use cheap plastic, use the cheapest possible ones you can find, bring an extra, and don't waste your time with these.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Breaks Easily I really liked these... Until my first one broke. I thought nothing of it as it comes in a pack of 3. But when my second one broke 2 days on the trail, and I had to carve a spoon for the rest of the trip, I was disappointed. I've had friends say theirs broke as well so it probably wasn't just a bad batch. I wouldn't recommend it. - Cheers

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ok if you get them cheap, for temporary use These sporks are great in size and my son uses them well, but they are not durable. We got them cheap on REI Outlet, but if I had paid full price I would be disappointed. The fork tines broke easily after minimal use. I wouldn't take these camping, but they're ok for at home or picnics. In general, I'd rather have something sturdier that will last. Minus for durability, plus for form and function.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these little sporks! I bought these primarily for work and have been using them daily for about a year. I was so happy to discover they came in a small size and without the serrations on the fork side since my mouth isn't very big. I haven't used them on anything heavy duty but they have held up just fine on things like meats. Bonus: there are some fun colors too!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great for the price These utensils are lightweight and small, so very convenient for backpacking. I prefer the separate spoon and fork, though I wish it were a little bit longer and the spoon a bit bigger.
