Rated 5 out of 5 by from Efficient and Reliable As a daily bike commuter and roadie, I've found this product to fit all my needs regarding proper visability, lighting during the winter time. The light attachments are error free, we just need to make sure that the light slips into the bracket until we hear a "click" that indicates that it's locked in there. In regards to the rain, I think it's also important that the cover is placed back correctly, so that the rubber seal protects the inside compartment. As far as the button being difficult to push, try depressing the button for about 5 seconds to turn it on or off. Overrall, the rear bike light is perfect and great for road safety.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good light bad bracket Extremely bright for a small light. Easy to mount on bike. I've had 4 of them now. Three existing on my different bikes, (one lost somewhere when my son crashed my mountain bike and didn't notice the light was gone). For me, one jumped off when I hit a bump descending at about 35 MPH. Went back and got it, still shining. Another time riding on the coast, hit a bump, heard it fall. Went back and got it. Put the pieces back together and it worked fine again. Since then, I mount it on the bike, and use a piece of electrical tape to fasten it to the bracket. Easy to remove if needed Buy the light, adapt the bracket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product As a avid road cyclist who covers several thousand miles a year, I spend quite a bit of money on gear and expect it to work. This little light has yet to let me down. It weighs little, mounts easily (either by clip or by plastic mounting brackets that are included) and is bright enough (maybe even annoying in "flash-mode") to be seen during a sunny day. While it is not waterproof, I would say it is pretty water resistant. I have used it on many multi-day bike tours covering hundreds of miles of open road in all kinds of weather (wet, cold, dusty etc.) and it has not failed me in over three years of use. I have only replaced the batteries 3 times during that period. For the money this is a good investment.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from not weatherproof I very much like this light for its brightness and the flash pattern. However I am disappointed with the weatherproofing. The rubber gasket does not seal the light sufficiently. After a few days of use for my daily commute on wet roads water and road salt picked up by the tires work their way into the light and it stops working. Sometimes a thorough drying solves the problem but not always. I am now on my 3rd in as many years. The sales person at my Boston REI told me that 1 year of daily use from a bike light was reasonable. I am not sure I agree. I will try sealing this one with tape before installing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tiny, Super Light, and OH SO BRIGHT! This tiny little thing is amazing. There is NO WAY that a person can ignore this light. The pattern is very eye-catching, and the intensity is unrivaled. While the main LED is relatively directional, the unit itself is still hard to miss from any angle. It is very light weight too. My only concerns are the AAA batteries - AA is always better - and the clip-in part of the mount system does not seem secure. If my seat bag weren't mounted directly above the light I would be worried about it flying off when I hit a bump. No matter though, I would just buy another one. You can't be sure you're safe unless you have one of these!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the best light. What's the deal with their switches? I pedaled in one rainstorm and the light went haywire. Now it seems to have a mind of its own, selectively choosing which mode it wants to operate in, and most disconcerting is that it will choose to turn itself off!!!! I thought I was the only one with this issues, but apparently it is pretty common. I also don't like how narrow the beam focuses, I don't feel that all the cars can see me - particularly if they come from the side or at an angle. I ride too much not to value my safety and a taillight is KEY!!!! I'd spend whatever it takes to get a good taillight, but this is NOT the one for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bright but overrated. I was very impressed with the first few months of this light's life. It is blindingly bright and very simple. However, the button is hard to manipulate while riding and the bracket doesn't hold on to the light very well. A huge disappointment for this light is that after a full summer it now shorts out. I have dropped it a few times but nothing significant. I have heard other people with this issue as well. It is extremely dangerous because once it starts shorting it has a life of it's own. It will turn on and off depending on how bumpy the road is. You'll get home and realize the thing has been off the whole time. I'd try the new Cherrybomb by Niterider.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ''Super''Flash indeed !!! Oh yes... I had heard good reviews of this light. But the deal was sealed for purchase after I followed a herd of them down the road in the San Diego Midnight Madness ride last August - I could see them clearly at least half a mile ahead, flashing fiercely. I use the clip fastener, works on both my Camelbak and my Bell Citi helmet (can't use it on my wedge pack as it would drag on my rear wheel - wouldn't have this problem if I were taller and rode a longer seatpost!). Excellent value for the price. The third tail light we've tried and so far the best and most functional. We never leave home without 'em, even in daylight. I can't recommend the Super Flash too highly.
