This shoe is very comfortable, but I have three major problems with the shoes: 1. They STINK! Honestly, my other shoes don't smell bad, but the stench on these after I wear them for a trip is pretty awful. 2. They are hot and they are so open that they're pretty useless unless you are on a paved road, because your feet get so dirty with them. 3. They get sweaty during use and your foot inside them begins to slip around. This shoe is a really fun color and it's great that you can wear them in the water and that they feel comfortable, but I would suggest that you find another shoe, because the cons on these outweigh the pros.

My Keens are my favorite shoes, and I have several pairs in many colors. I have 4 pairs of Venice H2s in purple, teal, fuschia, and navy blue. I have 2 pairs of Newport H2s in blue and gray. The Venice H2s are my favorite! I wear them all four seasons, and when it is cold, I wear them with socks underneath. They are so comfortable and versatile! I wear them almost every day, when I am working or playing. I hike and walk in them, and also wear them when I teach my classes. I wear them to the beach and when we kayak. I always get compliments on my Keens! I wear my Keens with jeans, hiking pants, shorts, and even with a skirt and tights! I love my Keens and they will always be my favorite shoes!!!
Fabulous!
I bought these for the purpose of sailing/racing. They are durable, wearable, and really grip even wet decks. I also wore them all summer hiking on some hills and rocks. They gripped all surfaces. I also wore them in various lakes and oceans where the bottom was not smooth sand, and they were great for this, as well. The only drawbacks are the nylon top stays wet for extended periods of time which is uncomfortable if you have nothing else to wear. Also, eventually, they retain foot odor, which is next to impossible to remove once it is present. Every time I wore these people complimented me on their looks. They are great, durable shoes.
Fantastic sandals!!
This is my second (but not last!) pair of Keen Venice sandals. It took me a while to get used to their look, but once the comfort was evident on a 3-week trip to Europe, their not-so-pretty look faded away!! I now have the green ones and the brown/gray ones. They are great for walking, traveling, wearing in the water, wearing on the beach...anywhere that you need to be active but comfortable. They actually look cute with denim capris or a denim skirt, too. My only complaint is that I want them in hot pink!!!

I bought this to bike in during the hot, humid east coast summer using toe clips on my pedals. I wanted something with a closed toe but breathable and this shoe is it! It slides right in and out and I always feel safe in case of emergency stops. I did try to wear them hiking once and it was ok, except the bottom really doesn't have a lot of tread, it's pretty smooth. I also played tennis in them and got a wicked blister on the bottom of my toe, so not best for that either. When I went for walks over an hour long my shins started to hurt but for casual walking and wear around they are super comfortable and cute.
Great active sandals
I love these sandals. I have had Tevas for many years but as I get older they don't seem to give enough support for long days on my feet anymore. These Keens are cute, comfortable, waterproof, and they protect my feet well. I bought these for a trip to Key West where I was going to be sight seeing, biking, and going to the beach. These were perfect. Also, I personally like this style better than the other style because it is a bit more open and stylish.The only problem is the cost, however these are really THAT good and worth the cost. Also, keep an eye out for sales and you may be able to save [$] (I did).
Best $ spent in a long time!
These are the most practical shoes I have ever bought and I absolutely love them! I got them the week before I went to camp as a counselor and wore them every day... In the creek, walking around, playing indoor hockey... Then I took them kayaking. LOVED them. I wasn't worried about losing them and they have great traction on the bottom so I didn't slip around on the rocks. They are super comfortable on dry ground for walking/light hiking and are perfect for wet weather when running errands around town or for water sports/activities. I even wore them when I went to the lake for a family reunion. So perfect!
Super Comfortable Sport Sandal
I have a wide foot and this sandal is wide even for me. It also runs large. I had to return the first sandals (postage was a very expensive)for a half size smaller. They are still slightly large. I ordered black but REI sent brown. I decided that it was too much trouble to return again. The brown is okay. But, I like the sandals and will use them for biking, hiking and kayaking.
Look good with shorts or sundress
Great on my mtn bike to protect my toes while riding in dirt, yet cooler than tennis shoes. Comfy for walking several miles also, plus can go in the washer when they get dirty and come out looking new.
Did I buy the wrong shoe?
I bought this shoe (a half size bigger as advised) based on the raving reviews on here. I just checked the box to make sure I bought the same shoe everyone is talking about here. I decided to put them to the test in San Francisco since I will need them for a month long trip later this year. By the end of Day 2 (I had to use them to walk for 4 days), I was limping on both feet and had chafes all over my heels and ankles- I even wore band aids from Day 1 just to be proactive. I am returning them and going to look for a pair that I can wear longer for 2 days without being in pain- and hopefully the next pair will actually be cute! They were comfortable the first day. But things went downhill very quickly after that. Very disappointed in these shoes.
