Order was canceled by REI - no reason provided
my order was canceled because one/several of the items were out of stock, the exact item wasn't named and all the order was canceled. This can't be the default action for an order, if there are any problems, REI needs to communicate them and continue with the rest of the order. The headlamps we wanted to buy online, were purchased in shop, so there was no real reason to cancel the entire order.

You Light Up My Life
Great little headlamp. Purchased two of them while they were on sale. In my opinion the core lithium rechargeable battery packs are worth the extra cost. These lights have 3 white and 3 red settings also glow in the dark after light. The brightest setting is plenty of light to navigate within 30 yards or so. The low setting is good for reading. I have used it for up to an hour on high with no dimming. Likely would burn for much longer but I have not tested the limits. I have the 450 lumen version which offers plenty of light for night navigation in the northwest woodland trails and around the farm. Extremely light weight with a comfortable and easily adjustable headband. The tilt function works well. Fast recharge time. Ive had other headlamps but these are my favorites for comfort, weight, recharge time, and value for money. Of course there are lots of other options but for our needs these work well. Plus supporting REI and the comfort in knowing they have an excellent return policy all goodness.
