Bataleon Fase bindings work

My 3rd day with the Fase bindings. Used in 2 foot pow, 6 inch heavy pow and hardpack, worked in all conditions. Just a normal binding! I was comfortable stepping in and out after a couple hours. Look and feel of normal great strap bindings, but just a single action to get in and out. Several times, I automatically released the toe and ankle strap but of course only needed to release the ankle strap. Several chairs at my primary resort have old school gnarly off ramps. On the chair, slip the foot in the binding, press down, back locked in, slide the ankle strap in position and go. Or get off chair, step in, strap on and go. Fabulous. In earlier years, I had ridden K2, Burton, Ride and other step-ons. They often had click-on issues with snow on boot and always left several degrees of unwanted movement. This binding does not require a special clunky boot, you just wear your favorite boots. Solid, simple, lightweight, and easy to use. The highback when leaning back does not get in the way when skating but also can be popped forward.
