Best Blanket Ever! (Ignore any review < 5)

I bought this many years ago now based on a Wirecutter review. It was a different pattern, but just as beautiful as the current one. It is well made, well made, beautiful... a work of art. Lately I've been using it in my backyard to lie on a night to watch the stars. The waterproof liner is essential. Easy to roll out and roll up. G-kids love it.

Worked great, washed in a washing machine too

So far so good, and I washed it in the washing machine. No issues after 3 uses. It’s a basically a thick footprint on one side with some softness on the other. I’ve read some horror stories on the reviews, maybe I just got lucky. But I like it. Picture attached is from the city who friend wanted to nap outside for a bit. Threw the Hest sleeping pad on the picnic blanket and came back an hour later and he was wrapped in it. Guess it works as cover in 55 degrees too lol

Great tent liner

I have an earlier victory blanket that I purchased in 2022, I believe. We have used it in the tent floor for approximately 55 nights of camping with no discernible wear and tear, walking with shoes. However, we do have a second more durable mat in the area where we step into the tent. I wasn't sure what to expect when I purchased this, but we've been very pleased. I have ir 4 stars because I'm not crazy about the pattern. I have washed it in a machine, but carefully, with no problem.

Okay but not worth the price

This blanket is okay for what it is. Ive had good and bad with it, the first day one of the metal buttons that are used to cinch it closed popped off completly. Then after having it back for another week it did it again and then the backing began to tear after use on just plain grass. As far as cleaning the only thing I've found to make it even remotely easy is to stake it out and use a leaf blower to remove all the debris that sticks like glue. Now for the good I've found in it, the blanket really is quite nice to lay around on. Ive had the family and dogs on it with room to spare. I also have used it as a camp ground cloth on kayaking trips. Where the backing is waterproof it makes a great place to set up camp on a sand bar. To wrap it up if I had to do it over again I would not buy this blanket...

Worst "picnic" blanket ever

This blanket is awful. It is supposedly a picnic blanket but cannot go in the washing machine and can only be spot cleaned. It feels great but I would never ever buy it again. Like, you spill coffee? Get sand on it from the beach, or mud from the park? Sorry, "spot clean" it. I have never written a review before of a product; that's how bad this blanket it. I strongly advise against buying it, I wish I didn't have it, and am looking for a new blanket.

Terrible quality

I bought this a week ago and was in love with it when I opened it, after looking this thing over almost all of the seams are loose and the straps are barely holding but when I cinched down the blanket to put it away the buttons broke. So within the first 5 minutes of having this and I can't close it back up and it's coming apart at the seams literally. Would not buy this, save your money and find something better quality

excellent beach and picnic blanket

Solid build and design implemented well. Perfect item to leave in car for creating a comfortable and dry spot to sit at beach, camp, back yard. Depending on the size you purchase it also may function well as a durable tent liner for big dogs. Can anchor the corners, has a functional pocket, and packs easily. Great product

Unable to clean properly

This blanket is great until to gets so dirty it needs to be cleaned throughly. The spot cleaning method is laughable for such an item. Spend a few bucks more and get a picnic blanket that can be machine washed AND dried. Cheers...nice try...but your product failed my real world field testing.

Junk

Really disappointed in this product. Every piece of grass or pine needles, dirt etc. stick to this blanket and extremely hard to remove or vacuum off. Also underside protection is separating from the top layer after 3 uses as a tent floor protector. Very overpriced for a mediocre product.
